Kestner German Bisque Doll # 146 with Stamped Body. This stunning original J. Kestner antique stands 23 tall. She is on the original stamped Germany 5 composition body. She has her original and beautiful brown glass working sleep eyes. The lids are in perfect shape which is rare for an antique doll! Her antique brown human hair wig is also in nice condition. Her Kestner plaster pate is original as I had to remove it to take the photos. She has an open mouth with four set in porcelain teeth and is strung tightly. Her red Germany 5 stamp is clear. There are no cracks, chips or hairlines in her porcelain as you can see in the lighted photos. She has had no repair on the body and has all ten fingers! Her head is marked #146 which is a model you do not see too often. She is wearing an antique full slip and pantaloons. These also are in very good shape.. Her dress is my favorite! Antique drop waist of cotton laces and fine batiste and accented with black velvet ribbon. She is wearing black velvet type lace up boots and vintage cotton socks to compliment her dress.
