Description without all the flowery stuff that distracts from what you need to know. This is a delightful 971 character baby. The head has been backlit, no hairlines. The mouth is open with 2 upper teeth. The brown sleep eyes have been reset. I don’t know if they are original to the body. The painting is nicely done. There is a tiny paint rub on the left cheek. Her wig is brown human hair. It looks like a previous owner decided to play hairdresser. The body is not original to the head. It is tightly strung, in excellent condition. The marks and scuffing on this body are less than average. Feet and hands are perfect. I have used “German Doll Marks & Identification book by Jurgen & Marianne Cieslik for identification, and Linda Edward’s Book “Doll Values Antique to Modern as price reference (published 2017– the latest price guide available). Many of these have been put together with parts bought separately over years. I describe to the best of my ability. FOR PACKING I USE CLEAN PLASTICS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED, NOT NEW PACKING MATERIALS.
