Offered for sale is an antique Simon and Halbig lady doll. The doll is 20 inches tall with brown sleeping blown glass eyes. It has an open mouth with teeth. The ears are pierced. It is on a fully jointed composition body. The blonde mohair wig is a replacement but in an appropriate style. The dress is its original dress from the period. She is missing shoes and stockings and pantaloons. The doll is marked. The doll is in excellent condition. There is no damage to the bisque, no breaks, cracks, nor chips. The body has its original paint and varnish. The hands are missing no fingers. There is some cracking at the top of the upper thigh, and a few chips of gesso out of the neck socket.
