If you were waiting for the perfect antique miniature doll by a artisan doll company, here she is! She wears an antique lace gown which has wear and play but still looks magnificent. The dress has a pincushion attached which is unusual , she must have been a some little girls sewing companion! The detail on the beautiful blonde lace is incredible. And THAT WIG is just incredible. I believe it is her original. Mohair and style holding all its curls. She has the desirable closed mouth that we look for in Kestners. She has sleep glass eyes and beautiful painted features. With a lot of miniatures you lose detail but not with this girl. She has all her well defined features and eyes like larger Kestner dolls. She is marked 158. She is beautiful molded painted stockings and cute Mary Jane shoes. For being over 100 years old , she is divine! Made by Kestner Circa 1910. Condition report : tiny inside rim chip (you can see with picture of inside of head) and dress in played with condition. Legs replaced but for snug and excellent! No hairlines cracks or other damage.
