Offered is this lovely antique Armand Marseille doll, known as Queen Louise. 26 tall and makes quite the presentation! Her bisque head is free of damage, including hairlines, there is a flake/wig pull on the back of her head. She has her original blown glass blue sleep eyes with full mohair lashes on the top and painted eyelashes on the bottom. Open mouth with four upper teeth. She has a vintage long brunette human hair wig. Head is incised on the back: 305 at the top of the head, Queen Louise and Germany near the bottom of the head. Her composition body retains the original finish and is in good antique condition. Some wear at the hip ball joints and fine crazing on the arms, but nothing major or deep. All fingers are present. Some tape marks on her upper thighs. But overall it is in nice condition. She is wearing a lovely ensemble that consists of a really great antique insert lace skirt. Someone made her a vintage blouse and undergarments to match the skirt somewhere along the line. Vintage socks and shoes. She has an antique beaded “bag” tied to her wrist, but it is just for decoration as it is missing beads and is no longer a bag, just remnants.
