Beautiful doll in very good condition. String may need some tightening. The elastic cord is hanging out by knee joint so she may have been tightened once that way. The little dress looks like it was handmade but it is not her original clothes. There are minor chips in the composition by where the legs join the body. Has not been restored in any way. Offered is this lovely antique doll. She has blue glass google eyes and a Mona Lisa smile. Her head is bisque, her body is five piece composition. She measures about 8.5 long. She has a 1 hairline from her neck opening into her cheek but stable and not very noticeable. Cardboard head cover but no wig. I believe she dates from about 1910 -1915. This is a great little Googly eyed doll made by Armand Marsielle. She is mold number 323 and marked on the back of her head as shown in the pictures. She stands 9 inches tall on a 5 piece composition body. Her blonde, almost white, wig seems to be mohair and is not glued down. She is wearing an antique dress, and little white shoes.
