M 390 bisque head doll, German circa 1910, with weighted brown glass eyes, real lashes, open mouth with upper teeth and light brown wig, on a fully jointed newer. Body and wearing a white dress, socks and shoes, (condition: good), 13 tall. She comes with antique rabbit fur & wire posable Spitz dog one foot is slightly loose. Also included is a 7 1998 Pamela Phillips porcelain doll and vi tage paper doll book. Please use the photos as part of the description. I obtain my items from various sources and list them as accurately as I can. However, my opinion and yours may vary since everyone judges differently. My vintage items are used and of an unknown history. They may have slight defects, show wear, have discolored lining, small stains, odors etc. But I will try and list what I see to the best of my ability. My home is a smoke free. This 17 1/2 darling doll is a Belton with her solid dome head. She looks French but is German. Belton-type dolls are not attributed to any single antique doll maker. Her solid domed head is turned slightly to the side. She has a darling young face with light blue glass eyes with feathered brows and dainty lashes and mouth and light rosy cheeks. Her lower arms & hands plus lower legs & feet are bisque. Her bisque turned shoulder head is in very good condition. The lower portion of the back of her shoulder plate seems to have been repaired in the past. She has dainty bisque hands and arms to the elbows. There is NO other damage to the bisque. There are some minor taped areas to the kid on her left arm and preventative taping at both hip joints. She is wearing a fabulous dress made of soft pink silk with lots of detail such as zig-zag embroidey, lace trim an amazing number of tiny buttons and lots of pleats at the back. Her under gaments are very nice. She also wears an elaborate bonnet with lots of silk flowers and other trim. She is circa 1890 and is a beautiful doll just for you. I hope you love her! Bought from a dealer in France – a fabulous mignonette in all original clothes in an original, ornate silk egg with antique accessories. The doll is so beautiful! 4 tall and with a sweet face and gorgeous outfit. I have not undressed her because her clothes are sewn on, but her bisque appears to be in good condition overall. There might be an old, very well done repair to her right foot. I cannot tell completely. Look at the details on her dress and hat! They are just fabulous. She comes with a little wire metal basket with antique flowers, a satchel that has three antique diecut miniature calling cards, and a putz sheep. Please note the sheep is not in the best condition and the bow on him has been replaced. Her egg is equally fabulous. I do believe it is 100% original to her. Please know there is some staining to the silk, but it is in still pretty good condition for the age. It measures about 7 long. A wonderful collection of a doll and her treasures. Tiny All Bisque Mignonette antique doll about 4. Her dress and hair bow are newer but have been sewn on so I can’t see any markings. There’s a chip on one of her shoes. I didn’t feel or hear any cracks and didn’t see any hairlines or repairs on the visible parts of the doll. Her arms can be propped up and down and are held with wires. Gorgeous 5 all bisque German made Mignonette (Possibly by Simon & Halbig) for the French market. She is redressed in a fabulous little green silk dress and hat with a long, luxurious blonde mohair wig. She also comes with her original pink dress, hat and tight curly brown wig. I have redressed her because her original pink Gibson girl style dress had significant wear and staining that I could not get out. It was removed carefully from the doll with a seam ripper as it was sewn on. If you would ever want to redress her in it, it would have to be carefully sewn back on her. Please note that she has a repair to her left leg above the ankle that isnt very noticeable unless you are looking for it. There is either a chip or a mold flaw to her upper back where the neck socket is. Her right arm has some original small flaws to the bisque. Small dot on the tip of her nose and a small mold flaw near the top of the forehead. This is the second little doll like this Ive had for sale in the past couple weeks. This 6 gal is a stunner but has some issues. Regardless, her face is just perfection and has that French look. She is a very rare all bisque, German and possibly for the French market dating from about 1890. Unmarked but possibly by Simon & Halbig or Kestner. Please note that her torso has been entirely repaired. This seems to be an old repair. Her antique high-necked dress hides this well. She also has old repairs to each leg. I have not seen any damage on her arms or head. Her dress is antique, her sweater is either vintage or antique, and her wig is a newer artisan-crafted one of luscious mohair. Beautiful and rare 7.5 All Bisque Doll for the French Market. Possibly by Simon & Halbig. Love the unusual blue bows on her shoes! She comes with a display box from the same era, an antique companion dog (looks like a cocker spaniel), and a bunch of antique millinery blue flowers. Her bisque is in good condition. There is some rubbing to the paint on the inside of her black stockings. I believe her wig to be original. Im not sure of the age of the dress, but it at least seems to be made with some antique materials. The hat is definitely antique. She wears undergarments made out of a black stocking material.
