With her stunning black hair and blue eyes, she is a true treasure. Unsure or exact year made. Shoes are made well, doll is missing one arm, the other is falling apart but still intact. Gloves seem to be leather and hand sewn, shoes are made very well also. Clothes are in good condition for age. No cracks or chips. I don’t have much information on this doll, it was an estate find. Her body is in great antique condition with age related wear from age and play. Her bisque head is free of hairline, cracks or repairs p. Earring holes have some wear (no earrings). She has a gorgeous face with amazing blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with tiny teeth. She is ready for display. She wears a pretty in pink antique doll dress with lace trim, antique socks with some wear tiny holes but they are pink and match her outfit! Newer leather pink shoes. She also has on a beautiful antique long blonde mohair wig with a little bit of thinning at the back not too bad. Doll stands roughly 16 inches tall. Please see photos for condition details. Lovely Rare 30″ German Bisque Socket Head Doll Marked “G & C Kestner? She’ll steal your heart! Please view pictures for the best description of this little beauty. I’ll do my best to describe what I can. She is marked on the back of her head, “G & C” along with a maker symbol. I’m not able to identify this particular mark, but I do know that a very similar doll with the same mold number was made by Kestner. She stands about 30 inches tall with a composition ball jointed body and brown sleep eyes. Her body is marked on her back “made in Germany” in a circle. She’s in very nice condition, although loosely strung, and has an open mouth with four upper teeth and vibrant face color. Some eye lashes are missing, and her brown sleep eyes open and close as they should. She wears a gorgeous antique dress with an exquisite fine lace collar and matching lace trim throughout the dress. A thick satin slip is sewn into the dress skirt, and her matching bonnet, leather shoes and antique broach top off this great period ensemble. It is 17″ long x 1″ wide and is made from ornate filigree lacquered brass. It has large amethyst “head light” stones and a hook style closure at the end. Her mesmerizing BLUE GLASS sleep eyes are of excellent quality, and note the thick original coating on her WAX LIDS!
