German all bisque doll sample box with 10 examples. Box measures 8″ x 10″ and dolls 3. All have mohair wigs, painted eyes, jointed heads, arms and legs. Various hair styles and dresses all nicely decorated with ribbon. Painted 1-strap shoes in either pink or blue to coordinate with dresses. Two wigs mussed, one lightly mussed. Some age discoloration on two dresses. The authenticity of sample boxes like these attributed to Hertwig has been controversial.
