Sweet Antique RARE SIZE 9 German Bisque Head Kestner 143 On Org Jointed Body. Just look at her! That little face with huge expression! In her bisque head, we did light her head to check; working blue glass sleep eyes; open. Mouth with molded upper square cute teeth; her head is attached to her original unmarked. Fully joined Kestner body; body is in very nice condition; normal to little wear noted to her. Body from usage and aging, as she is over 100 years old; she comes dressed as you. See in the pictures; a sweet dress; half slip with matching pantaloons; shoe; mohair. Blonde wig and a darling hat to finish her look. She has a shy look to her, yet inquisitive at the same time. Head is without hairlines or restoration, there are chips/flakes by the stringing holes at the top of her head as you can see in the pictures. One tiny chip on her earring hole. There is a factory mold flaw on her forehead. Original blown glass blue eyes are set and surrounded by loads of lushly painted eyelashes. Multi-stroke dark brown eyebrows. Open mouth with 6 tiny upper teeth she was made for the French market! Incised on the back of her head with’300′ and’dep’. Her wig is antique and a little sparse, but still displays well on her. It is antique and has old dark finish on all of it aside from her lower legs. I believe her lower legs were repainted. One leg is a tad longer than the other, but I don’t know if this is due to the way the ball joints fit into the hip sockets. The parts do seem to go together. It is an early body with loose ball joints at the shoulders and straight wrists. Her clothing is simply adorable! She is wearing a matched set of antique pantaloons,, chemise and slip. And her antique dress is the sweetest! It is a linen type with red underdress and smock over the top. There is a little purse attached to her waistband in front! I believe it is a factory original dress. It is so perfect on her! Her shoes and socks are replaced. Artisan leather boots with brown rosettes on the fronts. She is wonderful to display! This is such a rare beauty. Standing at approximately 11 1/2 tall. This exotic beauty has so much character. When collecting black antique dolls collectors looks for even and beautiful complexion. This doll has it all! The beautiful painting of features and a wonderful costume , ready to display. She has black enamel glass inset eyes. Swivel head on a black painted body. She has a ball jointed body resembling a sonneberg type. Beautiful ball joints and pose-ability on this doll. She has beautiful sculpted lips and features. Ruby red painted lips and painted inner corner of eyes. She has an absolute STRIKING face. She has beautiful molded ears. Her eyes are my favorite thing on this doll. She has a beautiful expression. She wears a simple but well made early outfit with hat. Wonderful undergarments and newer red shoes. Her little hat is just adorable. She wears a glued on mohair wig, styled in cute little curls. This is a beautiful 20 inch bisque head doll with a ball jointed composition Kestner marked body. Her head is free of chips, cracks, etc. And is marked Armand Marseille Germany 390 A5M. She has lovely hand painted features with painted upper and lower lashes and mohair upper lashes (a few of which are missing). She has brown open/close eyes and a newer blonde wig with bangs and sausage curls. Her composition body is in very good condition with all. She is dressed in a lovely antique white dress with lace trim. There is an antique hand painted pin with pink roses at her neck. She has a vintage slip, socks and shoes. Stand is not included.
