Up for sale is an authentic, antique 1930s-1940s molded pulp paper mache Halloween Jack O’ Lantern bucket. This genuine vintage item has been passed down through generations as a true family heirloom. It features the iconic early German-style molded pumpkin face with a wide-toothed grin, vertical accent ridges, and distinct blue eyes. Collector & Condition Details:Body: The molded pulp body is 100% original, structurally sound, and displays incredible authentic lacquer paint crazing and surface patina that only comes with real age. Handle: The thin, dark wire bail handle is period-correct and firmly attached. Restoration Note: To preserve the piece over the decades, the circular bottom insert has been replaced with a sturdy white cardstock base. The eyes and mouth backing have also been neatly reinforced or replaced with heavier printed paperboard inserts rather than fragile vellum. Vintage original 1930s / 1940s German brown wool plus fours. Pockets including a small watch pocket and a back pocket. Buttons inside for suspenders. The pockets all have zipper closures, the zippers are made by Rapid. There is some corrosion on the zippers. The trousers have some storage wear and discoloration – mostly along fold lines. Some of the buckles have rust. Wear and tear on the straps on the bottom pantlegs. See photos for condition. Waist – 32″ Length – 39″ Inseam – 27 1/2. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven’t figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment.

It is in a used but still very good condition. With signs of wear as expected with age and use.
