Amazing for any collector or religious history connoisseur! Each book is large (13″x10″x2) and packed with history, pictures, and beautiful illustrations. Could not capture its full beauty in the picture qty allowed. Written in German, but don’t need to understand German to enjoy the beautiful art within the book. Probably does help though. Books were published roughly around 1900 and are in great shape for their age. No binding or page issues. Books have general wear and minor discolorations, but no major issues. The man looks like explaining something to his sweetheart, helping himself with his hands?? While she is in a deep thought. She has an elaborately painted skirt, decorated with porcelain lace on the edges. The figurine measures approx. 5.5 (14 cm) tall x approx. 5.5 (14 cm) wide. Bears mark of Volkstedt. Condition: good antique condition with no visible damages or imperfection aside 1 repair to the front of the skirt of the woman and 1 broken finger on the right hand of the man. I examined the figurine several times and didn’t find any other losses or repairs. Use the pictures as a part o f the condition report! This porcelain lace figurine makes a beau tiful display and will be a valuable addition to any collection!
