This cute character baby was made in Germany by Simon Halbig, Kammer & Reinhardt (K & R). Her head is marked 121 and she measures about 20 inches long. Her head has been light tested and showed no issues. She has blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with two teeth, full rosy cheeks with dimples, and a dimpled chin. Her composition baby body is in antique condition with crazing as shown and paint retouches. All fingers and toes are intact, and she is well strung. Note- in the photo, on her left back hip, it is a light reflection; her back hip is not scuffed as it may appear. Her clothing is vintage, and consists of a white cotton dress, a white cotton under dress, a modern onesie, oil cloth shoes and socks, and a fragile antique lace bonnet. This antique German all bisque doll plus others and a delightful vintage folk art wooden chair lot is a delight for any collector. The set includes three dolls comprised of one adorable 6 all bisque Antique German doll with glass eyes, incised on the back Made in Germany with what is probably her original regional costume (trachten) and two cute dolls both of which are probably Japanese, one from the 1920s to 30s, and the other a Shackman from the 1960s, all with varying hair colors and lengths. The dolls come with a vintage hand made hand painted Wooden Folk Art chair and are perfect for all occasions. The dolls are made with All Bisque porcelain and the 6 all bisque antique German doll with stationary glass eyes also utilizes such materials as porcelain, mohair, glass, bisque, cloth, and straw. The 6 Antique German all bisque and the Shackman all bisque are in their original state and the clothes are removable from the German doll. The Shackman doll has molded clothing. The white bisque doll with movable arms looks as though it is cold painted and may have been repainted on hair and facial features. The German doll has stationary inset glass eyes, hand painted features and moveable arms and legs. Her clothing is probably original except the long multicolored underskirt that is too small at the waist band that I added to her. I had to cut sewing threads and peel a bit of glue that was on her inner clothing to hold it on to her, so you can see the pix of her body. She has no damages that I see aside from typical wear from age and play. Her arms and legs are incised with numbers but I can’t read them. I also couldn’t read any numbers on the doll head or back just the incised Made in Germany. This lot is so much fun and is perfect for those who love antique and vintage dolls and toys! They are is a lovely addition to any collection. And the 2 other bisque dolls are great for when young grandchildren or visitors want to hold and play with dolls as they are not yet irreplaceable antiques!

I love this bear who has been a favorite in my personal collection. Sadly parting with him today. This handsome Sailor boy named Moby (after Moby Dick, of course is a gorgeous 13 early German Steiff teddy bear dating to c1908 with his FF button in ear. This teddy is in wonderful condition retaining lots of his blonde mohair with minimal thinning. Hes fully jointed and firmly stuffed with excelsior wood shavings and his fabric is strong. Moby has his black shoe button eyes, black nose and mouth stitching and has such a beautiful classic early Steiff face framed with beautiful mohair fur coverage. His pads are in good original condition with no holes. All joints work well and he has no saggy areas and his only blemish I see is a firm repair near his back shoulder shown in the last photo. His fabric is strong and hes in overall great condition with no odors. He’s even strong enough to stand on his own and if you like your bears in good condition like me, you’ll love him! Moby is wearing a gorgeous vintage Sailor suit with silk trim complete with matching pants. It fits him perfectly and is so adorable! I no longer have the ribbon seen in some earlier photos taken, but even better, Moby will come to you wearing his wonderful Sailor Suit! Contact me with any questions. Adorable 25 Simon & Halbig / C. Bergmann Bisque Child Doll. She is in excellent condition for the age. Her face coloring is beautiful with blue glass sleep eyes, feathered brows, painted lower and upper eyelashes, an open mouth with four square upper teeth. Her bisque head has no hairlines, chips, cracks or repairs. She does have a small stain on her nose. Her composition body has original paint. Her hands have been repainted. She is wearing a fabulous Victorian-style cotton dress with deep lace ruffles and trim, antique slip and pantaloons, reproduction black antique-style shoes and white stockings. Her long blonde human hair wig and cardboard pate are replacements. Marked on back of her head is C. Bergmann Simon & Halbig S & H. This beautiful child doll is looking for a new caretaker.
