Very beautiful doll has a bisque swivel head on bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pertly-shaped lips, center accent line, mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black four-strap ankle boots with little heels. Rare little doll have very fine expressions and bisque, rare painted fancy boots on shapely legs. Condition: generally excellent, very small chip on the right leg near peg mounting. Antique all bisque child. Approximately 6 15/16″ – 7″ tall when measured without wig. Swivel head on peg-jointed all bisque body. Head is marked only “1”. She has blue-grey open/close eyes and an open mouth with tiny teeth. The eyes are stiff… You may want to replace them or just leave her eyes open. When I do close them, the lids are not even.. So, if you are ambitious, her eyes could use a little work. The head is well attached, albeit a little wobbly.. Though the neck socket on the body is leather-lined, the head is not a tight fit into this. The head itself is slightly thicker in bisque on one side than the other (see photo). She has a sparse old blonde human hair wig that comes with her small plaster pate. The blond mohair in her hat is a different color blonde and does not match her original mohair wig color. No markings on lovely, antique, hard-to-find body. Head and body are free of cracks and hairlines. There are two tiny, tiny chips toward the top edge of each leg. Hard to see if not looking for them. There is a little glue residue on her head and near some of the pegged joints. A couple tiny kiln flecks here and there in her fine-grained, somewhat-pale, well-painted bisque. She is a cutie even though an open mouth doll rather than closed mouth. Obviously, she is coming just as you see her.. Only her painted on bootines and socks and her lace and pink fabric hat. I really like her, but have waaaay too many project dolls in my doll room! So, out she goes! Please let me know if you need more photos. The pictures are part of the description… Please enlarge and examine them carefully. On weighed and measured package to their zip code. I’m trying to clean up my doll room a bit!
