This is a vintage 14K yellow gold (marked) pin in the shape of a German Shepherd dog. It is almost three-dimensional: there are four separate legs and a dimensional body, but the back is open. The fur is beautifully detailed, and there are two tiny, genuine sapphires for the eyes. The pin is 1 1/2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide, and weighs an impressive 16.9 grams.
