Gorgeous 28 Handwerck 119 in Angelic White dress. Heinrich Handwerck’s beautiful 119-model girl is an instant classic, with a bright bisque face that just begs for attention! This particular girl stands at 28 tall, with large blue glass stationary eyes, and a fully-jointed original antique marked wood & composition body. She’s adorned in an absolutely angelic white lace dress. The 119 is one of the prettiest Handwerck molds, and aren’t frequently found, so why don’t you make her yours today? She has a bisque socket head, with painted and molded features: original almond-cut blue glass stationary eyes, painted upper and lower lashes, feathered brown brows, an open mouth with four upper teeth, a dimpled chin, and pierced ears. She stands at 28 on her original antique fully-jointed wood and composition marked Handwerck body. MARKS: 119-13 HANDWERCK Germany HELBIG. The bisque head is free of any hairlines, cracks, chips, or restoration, with top-quality painting and modeling of features. The body is in excellent original finish condition with red stamp, with glossy finish and varnish, with sturdy stringing and nice overall modeling, there is some minor repair and repaint. This wonderful German dolly is quite a beauty! The 119 head mold is not frequently seen, and she is on her original, rare Handwerck body! Don’t let her be the one that got away! It is ranked as an R2 for rarity in George Johnson’s book on Antique Christmas on page 135. The ornament is in excellent antique condition with a small chip at the top of the pike, and very minor paint loss. It has a slight pearlescent paint finish.
