A hand-colored printed birth and baptismal certificate (Taufschein) for Carolina Schsenreiter, produced by Johann Ritter in Reading, Pennsylvania, and dated 1838. Condition: Fair – Visible foxing, water staining, and creasing consistent with 19th-century paper; vintage wooden frame with the glass intact. Colors are well preserved and vibrant for its age. Printer: Johann Ritter und Comp. Johann Ritter is a recorded and desirable printer of these documents with this classic iconography style. Size: 17 1/4 x 20 1/2 inches including frame. Technique and Materials: Hand-colored ink on paper, wood frame.

Early 1860s Conta & Boehme 16.5 flat top china head doll with sweet serene face. There is a tiny rough spot on tip of nose. She is on a vintage hard stuffed body with porcelain lower arms which appears to be painted. Her head dies have a pinky hue and maybe arms looked to white? She is wearing old handmade clothing which includes a ballgown, petticoat and bloomers. I have included a photo of her from one of my favorite china doll resource book. Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Contessa Nettel “Piccolette” folding camera. This is an early antique German camera with an incredible industrial look and a lot of character. The folding bellows open and close nicely, and the camera displays very well as a collectible, shelf piece, prop, or restoration candidate. The original black finish shows honest wear from age and use including scratches, paint loss, and scuffs throughout, which honestly adds to the vintage charm and history of the piece. The bellows appear intact from a visual inspection, but this camera has NOT been film tested or fully evaluated mechanically. I obviously cannot verify that story, so please treat it as family history/word of mouth only, but it definitely adds an interesting layer to the camera’s story. Pretty doll with working sleepy eyes. She is missing eyelashes and has no painted upper eyelashes. The head is in great condition with no damage. There is a flaw on the back of the head that appears to be a production defect. No hairlines, cracks, or chips to the bisque. The doll is coming with the original wig and plaster pate. The wig is worn, yet remains in displayable condition. The body shows typical wear, including repairs. There is no leaking to the body itself; however, there is occasional light leaking coming from the openings where the arms connect to the torso. Small imperfections to the hands. The doll is coming dressed as shown. Her clothing is vintage, and the beautiful outfit is in good condition. The shoes are handmade from felt. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

Incredible doll in very good condition. She has working sleepy eyes, with eyelashes that are a little worn. The eyes show some crazing, which can be seen on the photos. The bisque is in great condition with just a small area of light scratches to the upper left part of the head. There are small flakes around the holes on both ears. Other than that, there are no cracks, hairlines, or chips to the bisque. Some hair may appear like hairlines, but this is just hair residue from the wig. The doll has good stringing and her body is in great condition. The wig appears to be original and is nicely preserved. She is coming with two-piece underwear and a beautiful antique outfit. The outfit does show wear, including tears and holes, but it is still in great displayable condition. The shoes are also worn. All flaws and details are shown on the photos, which are an important part of the description. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

Offering this Antique Victorian Children’s lithograph Dresden paper covered sewing box from the late 19th. The box features a charming lithograph winter scene on its lid, a style common in Victorian illustrations. This particular image shows two young girls in colorful coats and hats walking through a snowy landscape with a small cart, a theme frequently used on antique Christmas postcards and greeting cards from the early 1900s. Inside, the box is divided into compartments, some of which contain wooden spools of thread. These little presentation boxes often featured printed Dresden German paper exteriors and were used to organize or display small items like doll accessories or sewing supplies. Top of sewing box unattached. Paper loss to back as shown. Wonderful little example is a child’s sewing needle box. Please see pictures for details and measurements.

Wonderful antique teddy bear. She is about 15 tall. She has been well loved! Don’t know the maker but she looks German. She does have many patches of hair loss but is a solid bear. She is 5 way jointed but her legs don’t straightened out very well. Apparently she has been sitting for a long time! Her arms don’t move much either. Some straw is showing but not leaking out. Part of her nose and mouth is missing. If you are looking for the perfect bear, she is not for you. She comes with her dress. Remember antique and vintage items will usually not look new and may show signs of a mysterious past life, may have unexpected minor and/or unseen or inside imperfections not listed. Item history is unknown to me. It is probably that it has been washed or altered. Item is for bear only no other items in the photos.
