Set of 11 antique dolls. Many are marked Japan or Germany as shown in photos. 1 doll is a rubber-like material. She is fully dressed with synthetic “hair”. Open and close but must be manipulated to do so. The other 10 are bisque. All have their arms attached except one boy, whose arms are loose but included in the lot. The dolls have been gently wiped down but still have soiled areas as shown in photos. Please examine photos carefully for measurements and other information.

From the Hamel estate comes this wonderful example of a blonde child by Alt Beck Gottschalck ABG from 1880 with exposed ears. There are no chips or cracks to her lovely head. She is on an antique cloth body with kid arms with individual fingers. There is age related damage to the fingers and hands. She is wearing antique bloomers, petticoat and chemise. She also has her original silk socks that are melting. Not sure if they could tenderly mended but they need to stay with her. She wears an appropriate style vintage red dress with antique lace and silk ribbons. I say vintage not antique dress because it is machine stitched with snaps to close in back. Antique German Porcelain Doll Detailed Hairdo, Porcelain Pink Tinted Arms Rare. Gorgeous lady doll with porcelain shoulder head with deeper shoulder plate with molded bosom. Has elaborate hairdo with brush strokes, and molded “wind blown” curls flowing out at the front. Well detailed facial painting with finely painted upper teeth barely showing between her lips. Her hands and fingers are also well defined. She is wearing an antique cotton gown with pin tuck details, ruffles and a large sash at the back, layers of antique undergarments, antique black socks, and antique German leather shoes with center front ties and rosettes on the toes. Very difficult doll to find with such nice condition of her porcelain. Excellent condition of the porcelain, some wear of the fabric body we did not undress for fear of damaging the costume. , no repairs to porcelain, no hairlines or chips, costume may have some small holes or spots but sturdy, shoes have toe damage and replaced ties.
