ANTIQUE GERMAN FRANZ SCHMIDT BREATHER BABY-24. She has creamy pink bisque with no cracks or chips. Her wig is replaced with a very dark brown human hair wig. Her beautiful deep blue glass eyes are framed with dark lashes. Her body is in excellent condition. Her lovely long dress is fragile, so I didn’t want to remove it. She has a crier that is not functioning. Her gown is vintage with a slip, undershirt, diaper and booties. Her pink silk bonnet has fragile, repaired ribbon ties. She is an outstanding baby. 24 without measuring the bend of her leg. She fits perfectly in an antique high chair. Pet and smoke free home.

This cute character baby was made in Germany by Simon Halbig, Kammer & Reinhardt (K & R). Her head is marked 121 and she measures about 20 inches long. Her head has been light tested and showed no issues. She has blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with two teeth, full rosy cheeks with dimples, and a dimpled chin. Her composition baby body is in antique condition with crazing as shown and paint retouches. All fingers and toes are intact, and she is well strung. Note- in the photo, on her left back hip, it is a light reflection; her back hip is not scuffed as it may appear. Her clothing is vintage, and consists of a white cotton dress, a white cotton under dress, a modern onesie, oil cloth shoes and socks, and a fragile antique lace bonnet. These little miniature bisque porcelain dolls are 2.5 tall. They have jointed arms and legs. The girl is marked Germany on her back and possibly the boy is too but his clothes are not removable so I can’t be positive of that. I don’t know for sure if this box is original to them or not but it certainly is appropriate for them and has the word BABY on the lid. Such nice condition for being over 100 years old!

Beautiful 14 Antique Bisque Head Baby With Original 4-Piece Composition Body. In terrific condition with nice, smooth bisque. Head is marked C. Germany XBPO over an x 620-8. I believe her gown slip, and socks are original. The other is a lovely new long blond wig with soft curls. Neither wig is glued down. She is in in wonderful, undamaged condition.
