Here is a beautiful all-original doll that has stationary eyes and an original wig that is partially unglued. The head of the doll has some flaws, which consist of a couple of flakes to her right eye, as well as chips to the holes on both ears. There are no hairlines or cracks to the bisque. The original body has good stringing and typical wear that is shown in the photos. This includes some cracks and paint wear. One finger on the right hand is missing. The doll is coming dressed as shown. The clothes look like a replacement, they are in great condition. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

This endearing Sonneberg Belton-type bisque doll, dating to around 1880, reflects the elegant French-style dolls of the period such as those by Jumeau or Bru. She features a bisque socket head with a flattened solid dome, blue spiral-thread glass eyes, a closed mouth, and unpierced ears. Her wig appears to be antique-either human hair or mohair-styled to suit the period. Her composition and wood eight-ball jointed body retains its original paint and finish but shows surface wear, cracks, and age-related paint loss, particularly on the limbs and torso. Please review all photos for details. The head is incised “8” and shows a barely noticeable professional overpaint on the back and left side. She wears an antique brown pleated dress with blue velvet collar and cuffs, a matching bonnet, lace-trimmed undergarments, and antique leather shoes with metal buckles. The dress has scattered holes and small worn areas consistent with age. A charming metal “BEBE” pin adorns her collar, adding a sweet finishing touch. Height: 15 inches. Head: Bisque socket head, flattened dome. Eyes: Blue spiral-thread glass eyes. Wig: Appears to be antique, either human hair or mohair. Body: Composition and wood, eight-ball jointed, straight wrists. Markings: “8” incised on back of head. This beauty has stationary eyes and closed mouth. The doll is marked on the bottom back of the shoulder plate. We are not sure the second part of the numbers is 28, as it is hard to read the marking that is covered by the leather. The bisque is in overall good condition, yet there are small flakes to the holes of the eras. Ho other flaws to the head. The wig of the doll is a replacement. The body is nicely preserved, but there are some repairs/glued areas. There is no leaking to the doll. Bisque lower arms have small production defects, but have no damage. The doll is dressed as shown on the photos. Beautiful antique outfit has tears and other wear. Please refer to the pictures for more details. No stand is included.

The doll is gorgeous and is unique looking. She is 14.5 tall. She has one piece bisque shoulder head that is marked 7. Her eyes are stationary. There are small production defects to the head, including a tiny thin production kiln crack to the left side of the nose.

This 17 1/2 darling doll is a Belton with her solid dome head. She looks French but is German. Belton-type dolls are not attributed to any single antique doll maker. Her solid domed head is turned slightly to the side. She has a darling young face with light blue glass eyes with feathered brows and dainty lashes and mouth and light rosy cheeks. Her lower arms & hands plus lower legs & feet are bisque. Her bisque turned shoulder head is in very good condition. The lower portion of the back of her shoulder plate seems to have been repaired in the past. She has dainty bisque hands and arms to the elbows. There is NO other damage to the bisque. There are some minor taped areas to the kid on her left arm and preventative taping at both hip joints. She is wearing a fabulous dress made of soft pink silk with lots of detail such as zig-zag embroidey, lace trim an amazing number of tiny buttons and lots of pleats at the back. Her under gaments are very nice. She also wears an elaborate bonnet with lots of silk flowers and other trim. She is circa 1890 and is a beautiful doll just for you. I hope you love her! GORGEOUS Rare Early Antique Bahr Proschild Belton Type Dome Head Doll Mold 309. This is an early 18 tall B&P doll made in Germany. She is incised “309 9″ on the rear of her shoulderplate. She has no damage to her very pale bisque shoulderhead or her delicately sculpted hands and fingers. Her eyes are absolutely stunning- they remind me of the paperweight eyes seen on French dolls of the same time period. Her body is leaking saw dust and is fragile so her new owner may want to make repairs. Her lovely antique dress fits her perfectly and covers much newer undergarments. Special and pretty 10 Belton head fashion doll! Please note that only the dolls head, wig, and basket are antique. The hat does use antique parts. The dress, shoes, and body are newer. The shoes were made by an artisan in Russia and were quite expensive. Her head is in good shape, and is so pretty. It is a rare head and is marked 110 on the back. I have glued the wig on very lightly, so you can either glue it on better or replace it with another wig if you choose. Her body is by Seeley and is in new, mint condition. The basket is filled with garland that looks like cotton or white flowers, feel free to remove and add your own treats! She is really special. Thats such a stunning face!
