Beautiful 14 Antique Bisque Head Baby With Original 4-Piece Composition Body. In terrific condition with nice, smooth bisque. Head is marked C. Germany XBPO over an x 620-8. I believe her gown slip, and socks are original. The other is a lovely new long blond wig with soft curls. Neither wig is glued down. She is in in wonderful, undamaged condition.

BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE-HEAD DOLL -? KESTNER 182 – 30 ins – c. Beautiful large child/companion doll measuring 30 ins. Well modelled bisque head in excellent condition with no signs of damage or hairlines. Head is marked 182-17 Germany. Head is nicely painted with soft rosy cheeks, and an open mouth showing four teeth. She has grey sleep eyes with all of their original wax eyelids, but has lost her eyelashes. Ears are not pierced and lobes are without damage. She has a lovely antique/vintage blonde wig made from natural looking artificial hair. She has a very good quality body in very good all-over condition. All body sockets are sound. Both feet have very well executed repairs to the toes, with excellent colour-match to the original paint. She well modelled hands which I believe are vintage rather than her original antique hands. Hands are in good condition with possible repairs to the outside fingers on the left hand. Her clothing consists of a long white linen petticoat, and a long ivory pure silk christening gown. Gown has elbow length sleeves and a central panel down the front of the skirt with alternating rows of lace frills and rows of pintucks. It is a beautiful gown in excellent condition. What a stunning girl she is — such grace and elegance! Her face is beautifully painted with feathered brows, painted eyelashes, and sweet lush lips. She has an open mouth with four upper teeth, lovely gray-blue sleep eyes with lashes, pierced ears with earrings, and her nice brown auburn hair is full and swept up in a back roll. She is wearing a stunning lady’s walking suit ensemble in red silk, with silk train, a pleated ecru-and-lace silk blouse with embroidered silk flowers, and top coat with collar addition. The red dress has lots of soutache, decorative buttons, back pleats, and numerous embellishments. To complete her outfit, there is a black velvet-and-straw hat that matches her ensemble and a red-tasseled black purse. She is also wearing two-piece undergarments. She has a pale complexion and a beautifully painted face with delicately feathered eyebrows. She is wearing a gorgeous cream-color embroidered silk-and-lace dress with matching hat and pink leather shoes. She displays beautifully and will be a wonderful addition to any collection. Beautiful antique condition — from a non-smoking environment. Her bisque has no hairlines, chips, or restoration. Her ball-jointed composition body appears to have been repainted a long time ago. Offered today is a GORGEOUS Heinrich Handwerck antique German bisque child doll. She is an impressive 30 inches tall, with a perfect bisque head on her original ball-jointed body. Her lovely features include upper and lower painted eyelashes, nicely feathered eyebrows and a beautiful peaches-and-cream complexion with red accents at her nostrils, and artist-rendered fine lip lining on her mouth. Her mouth is open, with four upper teeth. She is wearing a French human-hair wig and is dressed in an antique dress with lovely embroidered garland sand flowers, and with a matching hat. She also has pierced ears and is wearing earrings. Beautiful antique condition — from a non-smoking environment. Her head is free of any damage or repairs after careful examination. Her body is beautiful with all of its original finish and stamped Handwerck. She has a small cracked paint portion on arm (see final photo)… Though I just keep the sleeve pulled down to where it’s not noticeable.
