Gorgeous German bisque head Kestner doll – no mold number, has a well-known look of mold 146. She is 27 tall, excellent condition bisque head with beautiful pale color. She has all typical typical features of famous Kestner dolls: thickly painted eyebrows, full cheeks and a pleasant mouth with upturned corners. Her mouth is barely open to show four beautiful upper teeth. She has blue sleeping eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, waxed lids. NO cracks, chips or hairlines (lighted to check for hairlines). Back of her bisque head incised. L ½ Made in 15 ½. Beautiful bisque, nicely blended rose petal blush cheeks, cute double chin, nice nose with red accents. Her bisque is in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, nor hairlines. She has a vintage human hair wig with hairpins. High quality ball jointed wood/composition body, stamped in red Excelsior D. The body has original paint and finish with typical wears at joints, please review all pictures. The body considered in good condition for the age. She is dressed in a lovely vintage cotton dress and 2-piece undies. She has beautiful shoes, stamped 6. The shoes could be antique, in very good condition. Vintage black socks have holes. This is a very pretty 20 antique German Kestner 1 doll. She has perfect bisque with no damage. Marked Germany 168 on the back of the head. Nice sleep eyes in the original set. Original plaster pate and vintage wig. She is on her original body with all fingers and toes. Stamped on the back of the torso as shown. Stringing is a little loose, but not floppy. She is dressed as shown in a custom-made antique style dress, shoes and undergarments. Body is in in excellent condition. A pretty doll to add to your collection. The product is an antique German kid leather doll body, likely dating back to the pre-1900 time period. This doll body is gender neutral and is in very excellent condition without any sawdust leaks or visible repairs. There is a tiny chip to the right hand little finger, all other fingers undamaged. It measures 4 3/4″ across the top of the shoulders and stands approximately 13″ tall. The kid leather was at one time tinted pink and the color has faded to a pleasant ver soft pink.

Antique bisque head doll marked Made in Germany 63. Approximately 24 inches tall. Bisque head with brown glass sleep eyes. Painted upper and lower lashes. Additional applied fur lashes present, with some thinning and gaps. Open mouth with upper row of teeth. Antique mohair wig styled in sausage curls. Wood and composition ball jointed body. Body is tightly strung and holds most poses. Wearing a finely made modern outfit consisting of a blue silk dress with inset lace panels and decorative knit-covered buttons. Includes silk slip and silk bloomers. Lace socks and leather shoes. Clothing is modern but very well made and carefully styled. General age-related wear consistent with an antique doll. Beautiful Heinrich Handwerck mold 109-13-3/4 H5 German bisque doll with pierced ears and huge brown almond sleep eyes. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to the bisque head. She does not have teeth. She has her original antique human hair wig but it definitelyneeds styling. She is on her original jointed composition pull string mama body that was painted. I did not test the mama mechanism and don’t plan to. She has all her fingers and toes but a couple fingers looked reglued or restored which is why they probably painted it. We will never know if the body stamp is under the paint. She is nicely strung and her arms hold a pose. She is wearing pantaloons, chemise and cream lace dress with maroon velvet accents with matching bonnet. Her socks and dhoes are vintage. Please review all photos and ask questions.
