This unique antique German boudoir bed doll is a stunning addition to any doll collection. 15 inches in length, this girl doll features curly blonde hair and stunning black eyes. The doll’s complexion is light, and her outfit is simply amazing. The doll’s ethnicity is Caucasian, and it is a perfect addition to any doll enthusiast’s collection. This doll is very rare because these dolls are usually made approxx. 6-7 and are on top of a powder puff or pin cushion or just to display on a dresser. She is in good condition with side glancing black eyes, rosy cheeks, and a red mouth. Her dress is 2 die 4 with jet beads. There are layers under her dress. Her shoes are wonderful but some of the beads have become undone and are hanging is a bit down (see photos). Her right arm (doll facing forward) is not in the best condition.

An elegant, dainty and colorful doll! Newly redressed, she is not a pin cushion, but is sitting on top of a hollow dome which can be used to hide something underneath, say, on a dresser or a vanity. The diameter of that “dome is 4″, the height is about 2.5. The total height of the finished doll is 5″, and the porcelain doll itself measures 2.5″H. No chips, cracks or crazing on the doll or the legs. The doll has no markings, but the quality of workmanship identifies her as being made in Germany. Dressed in 100% silk and authentic vintage lace. The shoes have some gold paint missing, but this is typical on a pair of legs which are close to 100 years old, wouldn’t you think? I got the top and the legs separately, and even from different continents, but they look just right together – this is what should truly be called “finding your other half”. “An Antique Estate Doll in Good 100-year-old Condition”. An exceptional authentic and vintage Art Deco German boudoir doll from the 1920s representing an elegant lady wearing a belted green wool skirt suit, with hat, and removeable black heels. Her silk face is composite, and hand-painted. She is wearing her original brown wig. Her cloth hands are covered in lace gloves, and her stockings are made from the same lace. Her linen long sleeved blouse has a lace collar and pearl embellished element securing her draped bow. A brown rosette secures her belt tie in place. She is 30 inches tall, and she is in clean original as expected condition for her age. Some marks of age and wear are on her, legs hands, outfit, and face, as pictured (see pictures). I’ve made no attempts to clean this doll and will leave that up to the final owner. Damage: Minor crazing visible under a digital microscope in picture 12. She will be packaged in a new box with a soft cloth covering next to her skin and then a layer of plastic protective wrapping, then cocooned in a thick layer of white packing peanuts and sealed with tamper-proof tape.
