Beautiful vintage German dollhouse furniture – miniature wooden dining table and chairs set. Chairs have velveteen upholstered cushion seats. All pieces are in very good condition for display with minor age wear – one of the 2 larger arm chairs is missing one of its support rails on the back. Table measures approximately 2 5/8 inch tall, 5 3/8 inch long, 2 7/8 inch wide. Two larger arm chairs each measure approximately 3 1/4 inch tall, 2 1/4 inch wide, 1 3/4 inch front to back. Three of the four smaller chairs each measure approximately 2 7/8 inch tall, 1 7/8 inch wide, 1 5/8 inch front to back, and the fourth of these smaller chairs is just a tad shorter than the rest. HUNDREDS OF AMAZING CHAIRS AND OTHER GREAT ITEMS. For sale here is this great looking pair of East German vintage 1960’s cocktail Lounge Armchairs. This pair of mid century armchairs were made in East Germany sometime in the 1960’s. We bought them in Leipzig last month. This very stylish looking pair of chairs are typical of the style and design from this era of the mid 1960s. They are in great and original condition. There are lots of great design features on these chairs like the shape of the back, the angle of the arm and the back legs and the way they join the back half way up the back of the chair. All of this along with the fantastic original fabric and the warmth of the natural wood all. Combines to make a very pleasing effect which would bring a lot of style to any room in the house. As they are at the moment, they are in original condition they have not been restored in any way. The frames are very strong and sturdy and there is no damage to the main structure of the chairs, no woodworm, no wobbly arms or legs. The wood is in good condition. The fabric is clean and in good condition. Finally I will add that they are comfortable. Depth of seat 50cm. We live in Scarborough but my warehouse is in Cambridge I know, confusing!! HUNDREDS OF AMAZING CHAIRS AND OTHER GREAT ITEMS. For sale here is this great pair of vintage East German 1970s Bartholomew cocktail Armchairs. This fantastic looking pair of mid century chairs were made in East Germany sometime in the 1970s. We bought them in Leipzig last month. This very stylish pair of chairs are typical of the style and design from this post-war East German era of the 1970s. The shape of the back flaring out from the bottom towards the top is the style known as a Bartholomew chair. They are a classic cocktail chair design with arms. I personally think that this model of chair is the most comfortable chair that I sell. The colour of the wood is a nice light colour and matches the legs all of the wood is in good condition. These chairs look to me like they have been reupholstered sometime in the last 15 years. They have used a good quality fabric which suits the chairs very well the material is predominantly light brown, cream and pink. You can see from the depth of the seat that there is a large spring mechanism in the seat. Which makes for a very comfortable chair. They are a fantastic looking pair of mid century chairs. Another nice design details is the Barcelona leg, they are splayed outwards, understated. But a really effective way of lightening the whole chair. This style of chair are very fashionable at the moment. Chairs from this period like these have become something of a style icon. As they are at the moment, they are in very good condition. The frames are very strong and sturdy and there is no damage to the main structure of the chairs, no woodworm, no wobbly arms or legs. All of the wood is in good condition. The fabric is in good clean condition. Finally I will add that they are very comfortable. The seat is sprung but firm and the shape of the back is very supportive.
