Each handcrafted figure measures approximately 4 inches tall and features molded wax heads and limbs, hand-painted facial details, original crepe paper wings, fabric garments with lace trim, and twine shoulder straps. Their expressive poses and original handcrafted details make them an exceptional surviving pair of early German holiday decorations. German wax ornaments were produced in limited numbers and are considerably scarcer than later composition or plastic examples. Originally displayed on Christmas trees, feather trees, or Victorian holiday displays, these delicate Cupids are highly sought after by collectors for their artistry and fragile construction. Finding an original matching pair in preserved condition is increasingly difficult, making them a wonderful addition to any antique Christmas, German ornament, or Victorian décor collection. This is a nice vintage antique German Kister Scheibe Alsbach porcelain figurine of a woman in a green dress with gold & floral decoration as well as a cherub at her feet. In pretty good condition as the pics show with what appears to be a small restoration to the toe of the cherub seen in pic 21 as well as some minor glaze wear to the woman figure and it comes exactly as shown. It measures 4″ in diameter at the base and is 12 7/8″ tall.

This is an old antique pair of ornate three arm wall sconce from a high end estate. Features a decorated cartouche backplate with applied flowers and figural cherubs with hand painted flowers and insects. Measures approx 14″ by 18″. The left cherub sconce center candelabra arm has been reinforced at base with old glue. All the candelabra arms looks to have been plastered into place originally. The left candelabra arm also reinforced into place and I see a scroll tips has been repaired. The right cherub sconce below the left candelabra arm has restoration to flowers and leaves and also on the candelabra arm. These are the repairs I see studying the set. I could be missing flower chips or other minor things. Please study all photos. These are stunning and have a blue cross swords mark on back.
