This beautiful antique German china head doll was made by the Kestner Company in the 1860’s, and is 21 tall. She has a Civil War flat top style hairdo that only has a few tiny rubs in the back. Her head, shoulders and lower arms are made of china, and her body and legs are of cloth. The body and limbs may or may not be original to the doll. Her pretty ivory colored Victorian walking costume is well-made, and includes a lace trimmed sleeveless blouse and a matching lace trimmed jacket and skirt that is longer in the back. Her hat matches the outfit, and is held on by removable double-sided tape. She also has an older petticoat and lace stockings on her cloth lower legs. She’s in very good condition for her age (over 150 years). Please ask if you have any questions.

Very nice 29″ China doll with 8″ high head and shoulder plate. Her body and clothes are antique. I have not undressed her because her sleeves are very tight and her hands are fragile and one has damage. The dress is detailed and fancy. She has leather boots that have some wear. Beautiful all original German-made high brow China doll from the 1800s. She is all original please note her dress is coming apart as shown. She has no chips no cracks just needs a little more cleaning. I freshened it up quite a bit as it has been stored in this box for about a 100 years. She stands 10 1/2 inches tall and has nicely formed hands and flat bottom boots with a pink band at the top as shown. Little to no paint wear. Lovely and high quality antique pink tint china doll head on fabulously charming antique body with antique dress. Her head is in good condition and is so pretty. She has a small beauty mark under her one eye but is in overall good shape. The body and dress are fabulous and have a primitive feel. Tiny leather hands and boots. Her body is filled with old rag.
