The cabinet is in very good vintage condition. Stamped West Germany 5-70 on the back of the case. A substantially sized clock measuring 11 1/4″x 9 1/4″ at the widest point. The only interior parts are a spring mechanism as shown and a part on the side of the cabinet which appears to have been a lever or handle. This is a wonderful cabinet for a start from scratch to finish cuckoo clock project. The cabinet has the foundation for the creation of a beautiful Swiss chalet Cuckoo Clock. For a Restoration project.

I wound it up the pendulum swung & dial hand move for the hour that I was photographing it, and it rang on the half hour and hour. Looks to be missing a weight on the end of the pendulum.

RARE VINTAGE ANTIQUE AMAZING VIENNA GERMANY REMEMBER WALL CLOCK WITH OAK CASE & BRASS PENDULUM , &. THE CLOCK WORKING AS VIDEO SHOWS. 44 inches tall including crown and bottom finials. X 16 inches widest point on top x 6.5 inches Deep. CLOCK COMING WITH ORIGINAL REMEMBER GERMANY MECHANICAL KEY WOUND MOVMENT # 46884 & KEY & CARVING WALNUT CASE WITH 3 GLASS ONE FRONT DOOR AND 2 EACH SIDE PANEL AND BRASS PENDULUM # 46884 & THE CLOCK HAS 5.5 inch PORCELAIN DIAL WITH ROMAN NUMERALS. The clock contains an antique German movement. The case is of a later origin, and its exact country of manufacture is unknown. It appears that the movement was fitted into this case at a later time, which is quite common and acceptable with antique clocks. This does not affect the function or integrity of the clock. The movement and case work well together and present nicely as a complete clock. The case is designed so that the entire front section lifts off as one piece, allowing proper and easy access to the dial, hands, and movement. This is part of the clock’s normal construction.
