For the discerning collector of antique miniatures – an amazingly detailed cabinet group cast as a clown with pointed hat, wide ruffled collar and pantaloons standing before a poodle on tall stool. The seated dog with upraised front right leg rotates on the stool! Platform base with molded edge on crisp feet. See close-up images for details and hallmarks on gilded underside of the base. Maintained in remarkably fine original condition – meticulously cleaned and hand polished. 1.75″ (4.4 cm) high to top of clown’s hat, 1.7″ x 1.7 square base. Up for sale is this pair of whimsical porcelain clown/Harlequin jars/cups. I’m not sure if these are possibly egg cups, but the hats lock in place, so I’m not sure. They both have light wear like crazing of the hats(one having a chip) and some paint loss as seen in pictures. Overall, they are both in good condition and display nicley.
