It looks to be about 1 inch in thickness. Very old and from Germany. Do not put in dishwasher.

Large vintage German biscuit or Cookie tin with decoration of Nurnberg. The inside has a paper label still and the bottom is marked Otto Schmidt. Some wear to the decoration. For sale is an antique German/Dutch hand carved wood Springerle cookie mold. This item is authentic. The owner was in the military and stationed in various parts of Europe. The mold originally had no hook and this was added later. The wood block is 5 x 10.5 inches. The mold is n good condition and could still be used.

Offering this original very old hand made cookie cutter. It is a rare theme, a late 19th century Santa Claus or Belsnickle. Santa is in profile with pointed cap and long beard. He carries a sack with doll and horse toys and holds a stick. Very nice detail throughout. This is a large cutter, measuring about 10.5″ high by 4.5″ wide by 5/8 deep. It has a handle. It has good weight at 7.8 ounces. Overall condition looks good. Some light spots of rust. There is a 1 piece of tin missing where the sack separates from the coat, see my last close up photo. Also, an area at the top boots where the soldering has come undone. Appears to be made in Germany or American Pa Dutch origin. It is not marked. It was found with the group shown of large cookie cutters, the others are listed separately. A very rare and hard to find cutter for the advanced collector. All items I sell are vintage and most are antique. I will point out any flaws that I think are pertinent but ask questions if you are unsure. Thanks so much, I appreciate your business!
