Antique/Vintage German Miniature Diecut – Crescent Moon with an Owl. Diecut is heavily embossed with matte finish. Embossed’GERMANY’ on bottom of right claw; circa 1920’s. Small hang hole intact. Measures a mere 5 wide. NO tape, or tape residue! NO folds, tears, or repairs. All original, NOT a reproduction. Listed in’Vintage Halloween Collectibles, 3rd Edition’ by Mark Ledenbach, on page 184. This miniature diecut is one of an original set of six. Diecut is near mint – there is some sloppy white paint drops during manufacture (I see another diecut from this set online and it also has this sloppy paint). Check our Feedback! Antique/Vintage Large Cresent Moon and Owl German Diecut. Diecut is heavily embossed with glossy finish. Embossed’Germany’ on bottom edge of Crescent Moon. Measures 10.5″ tall x 9.5″ wide. Hang hole entirely intact. Absolutely NO folds, creases or tears! All original, NOT a reproduction. Photos taken with- and without flash for your evaluation. Wear consistent with age: few surface scrapes – Owl’s feet; Moon’s cheek; and Moon’s upper lip;’8′ noted on bottom reverse; edges have slight manufacturing roughness; printing of black/orange slightly offset on stars during manufacturing. Very old, from the 1920’s era, halloween skittle game piece. Features an owl, on a branch, with smiling crescent moon. Germany, embossed on back, app. 2 3/4 tall, including red colored wood base. Late 1800s silver pocket watch with gold plated or rolled trim. Not working, mainspring feels fine and the watch will tick a few seconds then stops. Appears to be silver but I can not see any hallmarks (could be plated). Case is marked with a crescent moon and star, my guess would be made by the Ottoman empire for the European market. There is a name which appears to be German to the back inside case, name has been half scratched out. Front glass is frosted and has marks. Small dents to the case. General aged wear to the watch. The watch is approximately 47mm in diameter. Small dents to the side of the case. BEFORE PURCHASING TO LAY-BY, please contact me for details. I offer lay-by on all my items.
