This exceptionally molded character face baby will capture your heart. The baby has blue glass sleep eyes with wax lids and she has an original jointed composition baby Body with some wear on the fingers. She is all original no touch up. I hate the flowery hyperbole that often is in these auctions. Therefore, just a simple description. 11 KR Simon & Halbig My Little Darling. She has blue sleep eyes that are original to the head. Her open mouth has 2 teeth. She has a modern pale blonde mohair wig It does not have any hairline cracks. The body is solid and well enough to sit. I don’t believe it is original to the head. The fingers are intact. There is some chipping on the left great toe. There is a crack in the finish on the butt and lower abdomen. There is blotchiness on the right arm in particular. There is usual scuffing. She has antique panties & slip. She does not have shoes or socks.. The dress is cream colored batiste with an embroidered flower and lace. I don’t know how old it is but is definitiely an older one. PLEASE ASK IF YOU WANT MORE PHOTOS OF AN AREA. I will try with my limited photography skills. PLEASE ASK FOR INVOICE. Darling 3.5 little all bisque doll. She has a slender body much like a mignonette. She wears a tiny crochet outfit and comes with a fancy artisan-made hat. Shes has a newer mohair wig that suits her well. There is a tiny chip to one of her thighs and there may by a very good repair to her left foot or its possible that the molding is just a bit off there. Antique German 23 Kestner Doll 11 147 Bisque Head Darling Dolly Kid Leather Body. She has light creamy bisque. Darling Dolly labeled body. Under leather on shoulder it says: G made in Germany. Still has plaster from original pate but this is a newer human hair wig. One knee joint lets out small amount of stuffing. This can be remedied. No noticeable cracks or hairlines. You will notice white material around inside of head. This seems to be wool or cotton left from long ago. Dress needs some hemming and closures. I do not ever clean the dolls I sell. DARLING ANTIQUE GERMAN DOLL. By KESTNER – Mold # 260 TODDLER – Circa: Early 1900’s. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Oh you little cutie!! This Kestner #260 toddler is 7 inches tall. For reference see page #317 in’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. The bisque head does not have any flaws as examined by a black light. There is some black paint off her shoes. She is missing part of her eye lashes on the left eye. The body has it’s original finish. She is marked well on the back of her head: J. She has her original mohair wig. She wears a matching light blue short pants and dress; possibly original. She is a wonderful little Kestner. DARLING ANTIQUE PARIAN DOLL by C. Countess Dagmar – Circa: 1860’s. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Don’t you love the front curls? And the elaborate hairdo? This wonderful parian doll is 16 inches tall. She was made by C. Of Germany in the 1860’s. For reference see page # 62 of “Identifying German Parian Dolls” by Mary Gorham Krombholz. She wears lace trimmed pantaloons; lace trimmed under-skirt; and a lace trimmed brown print dress – all of these vintage. I would say she has her original body. The bisque parts do not have any hairlines or chips as examined by a black light. She has a little kiln speck on her left cheek. She has a very slight right cheek rub. Her legs have painted green ties. Her facial painting is very nice. And check out those curls. She is a darling “Countess Dagmar”. From my home to yours. Don’t forget to add me on as a favorite.
