Lot of 3 Antique German dolls. Dolls sizes are approximately 11″;13″;15. All 3 dolls have markings on the back/neck. Two dolls are made by Armand Marseille; we are not sure about who created the smallest doll. Two smaller dolls have fixed eyes. Largest doll’s eyes are sleeping but looks like one of the eyes is broken. Decor and stands are not included. Please take a closer look at all photos as they are part of the description. THIS ITEM HAS BEEN RE-LISTED BECAUSE THE DEADBEAT PERSON WHO WON IT PREVIOUSLY DID NOT PAY. These 2 dolls are an antique pair of twin bisque Mignonette dolls from the early 1900s. They are either German-made or French dolls and feature soft blonde wavy hair and come in their original outfits. The clothes are sewn on to the dolls so I can’t see what the markings are. They have moveable arms and legs. One doll has some age-related grime on the bisque arms and legs. This is common on bisque. The other has a mark on the back of a leg (probably a mis-paint). No chips or cracks. All of my items are either antique or vintage and have been used (unless otherwise noted) and may have normal marks from use, i. Scratches, rub marks, etc. They may not look new out of the package. I cannot describe every little thing. I will though, describe large or major imperfections that are not a part of normal use. On offer for your consideration we have a pair of antique German dollhouse miniature dolls. The dolls are jointed, original little outfits. They have lovely hand painted features, I just love the little sock and shoes. As you can see both dolls are made so that you can sit them. This pair of sisters came with a toy a carved wood bear. 1:12 scale, the dolls are 3 3/8 high. Good, no chips, cracks or repair, some darkening of dress. This one is of the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale, but unfortunately she is missing from the box, what cloth dolls/characters are left are shown in photos. I’m assuming the set has been played with, so expect normal signs of use, however I perplexed as to why the dolls are still attached to their original backing, as opposed to just being untied, played with and thrown back in the box loose, or at least that’s what I’d expect most children would do. So maybe it hasn’t been played with, I don’t know. I would say other than missing Little Red Riding Hood puppet, the most apparent and note worthy condition issue would be the box bottom. The bottom had fallen apart over the decades so I made a management decision to tape it back together. The Antiques Road Show guys would probably be frowning up on this idea, but I just felt w/o doing so, further damage would have occurred, I hope you understand. It comes w/ the theatre/theater props as shown. There is some writting that reads Red Riding Hood Puppets hand written on the side flap of the top portion of the box, it looks like it was done in pencil. I don’t really know what else to say.
