Antique German Bisque Head Doll Adolf Wislizenus Special 23 Nicely Dressed

This is an Adolf Wislizenus 23 Antique German Bisque head doll marked Special Germany. She has beautiful deep brown sleep eyes and lovely auburn hair. No cracks, repairs or damage to head. She has a jointed composition body that is stamped made in Germany. Her body has the original paint and lacquer and all the fingers and toes. She is strung well. Body has normal wear for the age. She is wearing a vintage green dotted swiss dress with pantaloons, socks and shoes. The shoes are old and soles have damage. Please review all photos and ask questions.

Antique German 16 Hertel Schwab Mold # 136 Bisque Head Compo Body Dressed Doll

Antique German 16 Bisque Head Compo Body Dressed Doll by Hertel Schwab Mold Number 136. Pretty Faced, Hertel Schwab Mold #136 bisque head, on composition body, Blue glass, working sleep eyes, with some hair eye lashes, feathered eyebrows, painted lower lashes, eye and nostril dots, open mouth with four upper teeth, blushed cheeks. Replaced, curly blond mohair wig with pate. Dressed in a replaced, “Victorian style” green velveteen dress, vintage hat, vintage one-piece undie, antique, black crocheted stockings and antique leather center tie shoes. Bisque head is free of any chips cracks or hairlines. Facial painting and complexion are lovely and complete – one area of cheek is rubbed. Glass sleep eyes are working and free of cracks. Eyes have a few remaining original “hair” lashes. Genuine mohair wig is a good fitting replacement in an appropriate style. Composition body shows moderate wear and has the original finish throughout. Tiny amount of crazing, tiny chips and cracks – not major. One hand is a replacement. Stringing is fairly tight – arms hold a pose. She does better with a stand. Costume is cute – hat is vintage and in good condition. Stockings and shoes are both antique and in very good condition. Undies have a rip in front and close with a pin because button is missing. Dress is a newer replacement and should be replaced with a nice antique dress. Green fabric is stiff, faded in back and sleeves are ripped at ends because they don’t fit her arms well. MARKED: Made in Germany 136/2. 26 Rare Antique German Doll by Gebrüder Kühnlenz 44-32 DEP fully dressed

Antique German Doll by Gebrüder Kühnlenz 44-32 DEP 26. I offer you a very beautiful Kühnlenz doll from my collection, made for the French market, GM around 1895. I find a small overbite especially endearing. The doll is made of fine biscuit porcelain, carefully painted, and has typical French blue paperweight eyes. The ears are pierced without chips in the ear holes. The doll has a French articulated body with signs of wear, especially on the feet. Hands are in excellent condition. She is about 66 cm tall. The beautiful girl is fully dressed antique. Unfortunately, the silk of the dress was very badly torn. I left her the dress anyway because it’s antique. Underneath is antique underwear, some of which have holes. Shoes made of thin leather also show some signs of age. The hat is made of felt and decorated with a feather. The doll also has a beautiful coat with a lace collar and an additional hat to match the color of the coat. She wears a vintage corkscrew wig, the color of which goes very well with her complexion. But this is a little small for her, which is not noticeable under the cap. Head without chips or cracks. I think that she is in no way inferior to the French Bebe. In fact, the face is even more special than with Jumeau.

The doll is dressed in an antique dress, stockings and a red jacket made of fine wool. There is a hole on the jacket. She also has vintage pantaloons and a cotton undershirt. The doll wears suede black shoes. Her beautiful red hair is adorned with a bow. She has beautiful sleepy brown glassy eyes. The baby is fully dressed and ready to decorate the collection of dolls!

DASHING, 5 3/4 tall, early German, antique bisque shoulderhead, finely dressed dollhouse. 1880, with great molded. With matching center-parted, molded light brown hair, very well molded and painted features including lovely blue eyes with molded eyelids, long nose and excellent cheek color. On the back of the shoulder with original fine linen cloth body with high quality, slender bisque limbs and molded and painted, tall black boots with tan soles. This handsome gentleman wears his wonderful original, two-piece, black dress suit with open lapels and coat tails, fancy buttoned vest over original shirt, and black bowtie. He is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks no hairlines or damages or repairs and no stains or odors as he is from a smoke free home. He will make a wonderful addition to an antique dollhouse family as the male figures seem much harder to find as there were probably fewer originally made.
