22 Antique German Bisque Head Doll Schoenau & Hoffmeister Princess Elizabeth. In 1929 the director of Schoenau & Hoffmeister, Curt Schoenau gave a photo of 3 year old Princess Elizabeth to the companys sculptor, Caesar Schneider. The doll was only produced for a short period of time. Supposedly the monarchy would not endorse the doll because she appeared stocky to them. She is a very rare and beautiful doll. Beautiful doll on a gorgeous toddler body. She has all her fingers and toes and no damage that I can see. There are a few small holes in her antique clothing but it is also in excellent condition.
