She is marked MADE IN GERMANY JDK 221 and I do not see an artist signature. She is such a cute little or should I say BIG 17 inch girl!! Her blue eyes are swirled and so pretty!! She is in good condition and her full bisque body is strung tightly. She is in excellent condition and I see no damage, please see all pictures for best description. On the bottom of her Left eye if you look down the socket you can see a little putty from when her eyes were set. Her wig is not glued down and I enjoyed putting new ones on her. VERY RARE ALL ORIGINAL 17 GLASS EYED WIGGED PARIAN CURLED HANDS. The previous owner was a very dedicated collector of parians who searched for 20 yrs. For this certain rare parian prior to the internet to add to her extensive parian collection. She discribes her as a bald wigged glass eyed parian with very unusual curled bisque hands. She is wearing her all original cotton dress, high-heeled boots and hat and her mohair wig which appears to have never been removed and retains its original style of braids and an intricate bun all in unplayed-with condition. Her glass eyes are cobalt blue with hand-painted brows and lashes. Her tiny sweet mouth seems to be smiling. She has pierced ears which retain their dangle earrings which also appear to be original. Her original cotton dress is very becoming to her and has detailed style. It would perhaps look better if cleaned, but that is the new owners choice. She is sewn into her dress making only certain parts of her body visible. What can be seen is in very good condition and seems o be original. She was repaired by a Russian master craftsman who is now only doing work for a certain museum. No evidence of the shoulder repair is visible. She is fresh from a local estate of a 98 year old lady. This dolly has been in the same family for over 100 years! This little girl is absolutely precious. She is the ultra rare #111 in a diminutive size at just 6 high. She is all bisque with fully jointed elbows and knees. She has the sweetest expression and flirty brown sleep eyes. She has her original auburn mohair wig and is absolutely perfect. No chips or cracks. Most of her lid wax is in tact and her coloring is excellent with only minor rubbing. There is a faint line of paint down one leg and the paint color on each shoe varies a bit. Each of her limbs is numbered with a 3. The top of the thigh even has the model 111 number. There are remnants of the original paper lining inside the joints indicating that this little dolly was well cared for. I have never seen the original paper lining like this. She has a newer ivory moire dress and hat that were custom made for her. She didn’t have any undies so I made a little onesie for her. Whomever is going to bring this little girl home will be overjoyed as she is simply adorable. Many more photos are available upon request. She comes with a stand ready for display. She is also photographed in a tagged Vogue dress with polka dots that was made for a Ginny doll. She is lovely in the polka dots and shows how diverse her personality is.
