Incredible antique german mercury blown glass fantasy double-sided indented ornament with a double-sided daisy. This is a really exceptional piece with small indents on the lower portion of the ornament, and inside the upper ball is a pink daisy. All the small indents and daisy retain its original multi color paint. Around the outer edge of the ball, it has white handpainted dots. It’s just a stunning example of early German blown glass, and in all honesty, I wasn’t able to find another like it. I did look under the cap, and the pike is in excellent condition with no signs of damage whatsoever. The ornament is fairly large, measuring 4.75. Two reddish arms hold two tiny silver bumpy bells from annealed hooks. Larger bell has a clapper -smaller bells do not. All annealed hangers intact. Right baby bell has a surface crack. Great coloring and strong silvering. There may be some paint loss, scratches, or darkening on tops. Little bells may have some uneven pikes. Size range 3 1/4″ L large bell and 1 1/4″ small bells..
