It took a fall at one time as you can see in the photos where I’m showing some of the gold “fins” are missing and there’s a few area of cracked plastic. It’s still a very solid piece and it’s plays Silent Night beautifully. The tree stand does not rotate. The base measures approx. 9-3/4″ in diameter and about 7″ high to the top of the tree holder. The opening where the tree would be inserted is 2 in diameter. I’m thinking that it’s meant for a lightweight tree like a feather tree since it is made of plastic and not metal.

Great condition- no chips or breakage. They measure 5″ to 5-1/8″. These were acquired from a Christmas collector who is 99! She acquired them from a neighbor in the 1940s who brought them over from Germany in the early 1900s! She recently moved in with her daughter and I acquired her whole collection. She told me they did a whole live 6′ tree with icicles- and I have them all- over 250 plus! Thanks for stopping by! Photos have been taken in natural and artificial light. Description: Original and rare, beautiful boxed set of 35 Christmas feather tree sized glass ornaments. They measure anywhere from 7/8″ x 7/8″ to 3/4″ x 1″ and are all bright and clean. Actually 34 as the solid red one is much later. These have to be 1920’s or earlier. All nesteled in original form fitting cotton in original box. The box measures 1 1/4″ x 8″ x 10. There are 2 Santa heads and one head not sure what it is and shown in closeup. Some very unique shapes. Guessing made in Poland or Germany. All my items are guaranteed original. This is a set of 17 antique/vintage glass Christmas ornaments, handmade and hand-painted by unidentified German and Polish artisans in the 1930s. The ornaments come in a variety of shapes and styles, and feature multicolor retro designs with embellishments. They were designed to hang on feather trees and are part of a vintage Christmas items product line. The ornaments were produced using the art glass technique of hand blowing glass. There are many which are blown without a mold, eg, indents, musical, urns, mushrooms, lg bell w/clapper, which require a high level skill to do so. They are in very good condition but might have scratches due to their age. All are hand made and hand painted. All sales are final.
