HEUER 1960s Type1550 SG SS 43mm Cal. Valjoux230 West German Air Force Black Dial. Here is the description…… Heuer West German Air Force BUND Chronograph Type 1550SG 1960s. This model was delivered to the West German Air Force in the 1960s. It has a powerful case diameter of 43 mm. In 1967, Heuer began to deliver the formula chronograph instead of Hanhard and Junghans. This watch is called Type 1550. The first type was “1550 SG”, which was procured as a stand-alone watch, the next was “1550 SGMA”, which was procured with NATO leather belt, and “MA” meaning belted was added. Lastly, “1551 SGSZ” was procured together with Hanhalt’s stopwatch, and “SZ” which is an abbreviation of “STEN ZEIT” was added. This model is “1550 SG” and “3H” notation type. 3H is tritium and is another name for tritium. There are several types of dials. This was exchanged for a service dial in a later year, and Luminous is not tritium. “BUNDES WEHR” on the case back represents the German Federal Army. In general, there are many “BUNDES WEHR”, but there are also abbreviated “BUND” and “BW” notations. As for the dial, some peeling of the print can be seen in the numbers on the minute track part, but it does not bother me so much. Others are in very beautiful condition. The bezel is for service and is in a beautiful condition. The case has a small scratch, but is in a beautiful state. This is the case serial 4-digit original. The movement is equipped with a hack and a. 230 with a flyback. With a 4 screw waterproof case, packing is inserted between the bucket type back cover and the umbrella type crystal, and it is stuck with 4 screws. It can be said that the waterproofness and movement functionality are both highly complete models. The leather belt is equipped with Chrome Excel black, and the pedestal (L) is also included.
