Vintage original 1930s / 1940s German brown wool plus fours. Pockets including a small watch pocket and a back pocket. Buttons inside for suspenders. The pockets all have zipper closures, the zippers are made by Rapid. There is some corrosion on the zippers. The trousers have some storage wear and discoloration – mostly along fold lines. Some of the buckles have rust. Wear and tear on the straps on the bottom pantlegs. See photos for condition. Waist – 32″ Length – 39″ Inseam – 27 1/2. While I would never list an item I find to have an offensive odor, I cannot ensure buyers (especially those very sensitive to odors) will feel the same as smell is subjective. I know there should be a simpler way of doing this, but I haven’t figured it out, so this is my best option at the moment.

For sale is a set of four original antique anatomical copperplate engravings, offered together as one complete and unified lot. The prints originate from German medical and anatomical folios published circa the mid-18th century and were produced for academic and physician reference during the Baroque period, not as decorative reproductions. Each sheet is an authentic copperplate engraving printed on laid paper, exhibiting strong line work, visible plate impressions, and period ink saturation consistent with 18th-century printing methods. The plates depict cranial, ocular, auditory, skeletal, and thoracic anatomy and include period typography in Latin and German. Engraver credits appear within the plates, including L. Probst, as shown in the photographs. These are period impressions consistent with original publication-era production. The architectural cartouches, scientific notation, and compositional style reflect the scholarly rigor of German anatomical publishing during the Enlightenment era. Individual sheets from comparable folios are often encountered singly; this offering presents a balanced and intentional four print grouping. All four prints are presented in matching frames for a unified and visually striking presentation. Framed later than the pressing, the frames are included for display purposes but are exquisite; the prints have not been examined outside the frames. This set is offered strictly as a group and will not be separated. No major tears, losses, or repairs were observed. Frames show light cosmetic wear from prior use and storage, with some paint loss. Each piece is carefully wrapped and padded then boxed to protect both frame and artwork during transit.
