Antique German Bisque “Asian Style” Nodder Pair 6 1/2″ Tall and 5-5 1/4″ V. This pair of antique Porcelain German Nodder figurines stand about 6 1/2″ tall and measure 5″ – 5 1/4 across at the widest. 3 of the wooden counter-weights for the hands are missing. The pair are in very good condition. There was a string threaded from the neck through the left hands of each possibly to make head and hand nod together? I placed a wire through both but have not replaced the wood counter weights. One weight remains so you can see how they work. LEASE EXAMINE THE IMAGES and ask me any questions you think necessary. WONDERFUL, original ANTIQUE German, c. 1890 , large SANTA papiermache (paper mache) candy container, all original, without repairs and in generally very good condition. He measure measures about, 10 12 high with removable head and torso half for storage of candies and gifts. The bottom half is weighted with his nicely detailed (although chipped) black boots which still bear the round: Made in Germany, blue label. On his back SANTA CLAUS carries his original large red, crepe paper bag and the original green paper “feather” tree with red berry. This attractive figure of St. Has realistically molded and painted features including thick eyebrows, blue eyes and painted wrinkles as well as a rabbit fur beard, mustache and hair beneath his dark red jacket with white trim, red stocking cap with matching white trim, BLUE trousers and black belt. What a FANTASTIC piece of Christmas tradition, treasured and well preserved. He can stand alone but is best supported with a stand and his boots would benefit from a bit of repair. He has had no repairs or repaint and has no odors and is from a smoke free home. Other items shown are not included and each listed separately. GOOD VINTAGE ANTIQUE CONCERTINA 20 KEY POSS GERMAN NEEDS A LITTLE RESTORATION Antique Concertina possibly German made by Lachenal and believed to date to the late 1800’s – early 1900’s The concertina having 20 keys although it does appear to have the potential or have had an extra button in the past. 5 fold leather bellows with decorative fretwork wood ends believed to be mahogany and with wood hand rests. There is no name to be found and have been unable to find a concertina with the same pattern of fretwork to identify it. Overall the Concertina seems to be in good restorable condition with a good loud sound The majority but not all of the buttons work and play a note on the push and pull. Two are missing and three are partially there just missing the bone top. Some little age damage , small snips, surface marks to the wood here and there and repair to the fretwork mainly to one spot but there doesn’t seem to be anything major. The inner workings of the concertina appear to be in good condition if perhaps a little dusty. The inner muslim / dust cover does have age related wear. The bellows are not in the best condition having some age wear and splits to the leather but neither are they the worst , they are still good and strong, not floppy at all taking a while to fall and would probably be fine repaired. The leather hand straps are missing. Measures (18.5 cm) 7.1/4″ inches diameter at points x (11.5 cm) 4.1/2″ inches wide , not including wooden hand / handle rests.
