This beautiful petite doll has well-preserved bisque shoulder head that has no damage. There are some paint rubs on her left cheek. No other flaws to the head. The doll seems to be all original, including her body that has no leaking. It is in very good condition. However, there is some damage to the left lower bisque arm and lower right leg. All the damage is shown on the photos. The doll has no pantaloons. She is coming with one-piece underwear and a very sweet vintage dress. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

Wonderful unique doll with beautiful face! There is a paint wear to the nose of the doll. It is very odd as we do not see any repaint to the face. Please look at the pictures as they are very detailed. There is a small mold defect to the left side of the head. Tiny flaws to the top of the head. Tiny chip to the front of the shoulder plate. The body is old, possibly a vintage replacement. It shows typical wear. Repair to left arm. The doll is dressed as shown. No stockings or shoes to the doll.

Here is beautiful and large ABG bisque head doll. The shoulder plate is probably marked on the bottom and is covered with the body. The doll has stationary glass eyes that very-very beautiful. The wig is most likely original, it is a little worn and is nicely styled. The head is in good condition with no damage. Th leather body shows some wear and repairs. Right lower arm is in fixed bended position because of the repair. There is a chip to the right bisque hand. No leaking to the doll. This beauty is coming with pantaloons (a little dirty) and very nice newer dress. Some small imperfections to the dress. Beautiful vintage bonnet is included. It is a little worn due to the age. Portrait Lady by Alt, Beck and Gottschalck- this. Very rare smaller size of this seldom-found model has the loveliest delicately-tinted bisque, gentle expression, original sturdy body. Until recently, considered a “mystery doll” known as the “Coburg lady” the doll has recently been attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalck, circa 1885. LARGE ANTIQUE GERMAN PARIAN DOLL. With Pale Yellow Beaded & Rhinestone Dress. By ALT, BECK & GOTTSCHALCK – circa: 1890’s. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Very nice example of a antique Parian doll by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck. She is 21 inches tall. She has a newer pink tint body. I could not undress her to show the body because the dress is sewn tight at the shoulder plate. I would say that the legs/boots are newer. However the shoulder plate/head are antique. There are no chips or hairlines or repainting in the bisque as examined by a black light. Her blonde curls are excellent. Her facial painting is very nice. The porcelain arms/hands and the legs/boots do not have any problems. She wears: lace trimmed pantaloons; an underskirt that is doubled with very nice lace. Her pale yellow dress has a exquisite pattern of beads and rhinestones. She is a very nice example of a parian doll from this German doll maker. From my home to yours. This doll is not very common, she is german and the head is incised 630 11. Period is 1880’s and the firm is Alt, Beck and Gottschalck with the face of certain Simon & Halbig dolls. She stands 18 1/2 inches tall (47 cm) and the bisque is free of hairline or restoration. She has a closed mouth and the blue paperweight eyes (bulbous). The body with straight wrists is original and in very good condition (not perfect), the body is very heavy (german composition), 2 fingers were restored and there is some paint touch on the left hand, 2 other small repairs at the upper part of the left leg and near the knee of the right leg. These repairs are common and it is minor. The quality of the bisque is good but you can see that there is no paint at the upper part of the head, in the back, it is normal, the heads were made like that. About the clothes (everything is antique) : 3 original and very beautiful under garments, antique socks, the leather shoes (good used condition) from the same period of the doll are maybe original.
