This 20-inch (50 cm) character doll features a genuine antique bisque head fitted with a highly sought-after, functional “flirty eye” mechanism. Head Markings:The back of the head is clearly incised with the authentic KR six-pointed star logo, followed by “SIMON & HALBIG”, the mold number “121”, and the size marking “50” at the base of the neck. Features & Mechanism:Flirty & Sleep Eyes: The gravity-driven eye mechanism is fully intact and functional. The eyes successfully sleep (open and close) when laid down, and they smoothly “flirt” (move side-to-side) when tilted from left to right. Expression: Features the classic molded open mouth with two tiny porcelain upper teeth and a beautifully molded tongue. The Left Eye: Please note there is visible age-related surface deterioration/crazing to the outer lens/iris covering of the left eye, causing a cloudy, textured appearance. Crucially, the internal metal rocker mechanism remains fully functional and moves smoothly despite this cosmetic surface wear. It is an excellent candidate for professional cleaning or restoration. Body & Outfit: The doll features a soft body with porcelain hands and legs. She comes dressed in a vintage/modern red-and-white gingham checkered dress with lace trim. Incredible doll in very good condition. She has working sleepy eyes, with eyelashes that are a little worn. The eyes show some crazing, which can be seen on the photos. The bisque is in great condition with just a small area of light scratches to the upper left part of the head. There are small flakes around the holes on both ears. Other than that, there are no cracks, hairlines, or chips to the bisque. Some hair may appear like hairlines, but this is just hair residue from the wig. The doll has good stringing and her body is in great condition. The wig appears to be original and is nicely preserved. She is coming with two-piece underwear and a beautiful antique outfit. The outfit does show wear, including tears and holes, but it is still in great displayable condition. The shoes are also worn. All flaws and details are shown on the photos, which are an important part of the description. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

This exquisite 34 doll is from my personal collection. This antique German doll was made by Simon & Halbig in the early 1900’s. Marked 1078, Germany, HALBIG, 9 1/2, S & H, 15. On back of head. No chips, cracks or hairline. Blue glass sleep eyes with perfect eyelashes Also has naturally appearing. Painted lower lashes – not the straight kind typically found on the 1078. Pierced ears with tiny Cameo earrings. Beautiful Honey Blonde wig (Synthetic & not original) with long spill curls. The ball-jointed body is composition with only minor signs of wear. She is dressed in a cotton antique dress trimmed with lace and fine pleating. The antique slip is trimmed with a tatted? And embroidered ruffled hem. The antique pantaloons are trimmed with lace. The garments show signs of gentle use. There are no apparent holes, tears, or stains. The shoes are decorated with pink roses and are not antique. The stand is not included. WOW – This sweet Girl is Rare and extremely Hard to Find in the UK. Stamped L S & H K & R. A Triple Stamped Collaboration between Lewis Levy, Simon & Halbig and Kammer & Reinhardt. She measures a lovely cabinet size at 12 inches tall. Blossom has a beautifully painted bisque head with working sleeping eyes. With wax original wax lids and an open mouth showing teeth. Her wig is loose. Sadly her head has a stable hairline to her forehead which I only noticed under Torch Light. Please see in the photos. Blossom is wearing old layered clothing. Showing some age wear. Her dress looks silk. With modern shoes and a modern hat. Please study all the photos as they act as a big part of my description. She is set on a good well strung jointed body. Her arms may have been repainted at some point. I do my best to describe the items clearly and honestly as possible, including any faults that I may see, other than general wear that you would expect from used items. Fabulous early Simon Halbig CM Bergamann early bisque, marked only #3. No chips, cracks or hairlines. Blue threaded sleep eyes function well. Retains eyelid wax and most of lashes. Wig is old mohair in ringlets, matches brows. Nice German original body with some areas of repair/repaint. Holds a pose, display ready, comes with stand. Great antique half slip and pantaloons. Vintage/antique pale yellow dotted Swiss, velvet sash. Vintage buckle front Mary Jane’s. Great early doll in very good condition.

Here is a very cute doll that, although not marked on the back of the head, strongly resembles a Kammer Reinhardt doll. She has working sleepy eyes. The bisque head is free of damage with no hairlines, cracks, or chips. The composition body is in overall good condition, however there is a crack to the right foot and a repair to the left foot. Some fingers show small chips. The doll has good stringing. She is coming with her original wig, which is a little worn but still displayable. The outfit appears to be original to the doll, including her dress and one-piece underwear. The red cape is a later addition. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

For your consideration is a delightful antique 24 German character baby doll by Simon & Halbig, Kammer Reinhardt. Her bisque head was light checked and no issues were found. It is marked “122”. As seen in the photos. She has blue glass sleep eyes, dimples, an open mouth with two teeth, and a platinum blond mohair wig. Her composition body has all fingers and toes, and some crazing, paint touch ups, possible repainting- not sure, and typical wear as expected. See photos for details. Her stringing seems fine. The baby is dressed in a long white cotton dress and slip, white cotton bloomers, vintage baby stockings, and a lovely lace baby bonnet.
