Up for sale is an authentic, antique 1930s-1940s molded pulp paper mache Halloween Jack O’ Lantern bucket. This genuine vintage item has been passed down through generations as a true family heirloom. It features the iconic early German-style molded pumpkin face with a wide-toothed grin, vertical accent ridges, and distinct blue eyes. Collector & Condition Details:Body: The molded pulp body is 100% original, structurally sound, and displays incredible authentic lacquer paint crazing and surface patina that only comes with real age. Handle: The thin, dark wire bail handle is period-correct and firmly attached. Restoration Note: To preserve the piece over the decades, the circular bottom insert has been replaced with a sturdy white cardstock base. The eyes and mouth backing have also been neatly reinforced or replaced with heavier printed paperboard inserts rather than fragile vellum. A spectacular, highly sought-after piece of early 20th-century holiday history that displays beautifully. Marked Germany on reverse. Approximately 3 feet tall with all rivets and joints intact. No tears, but the cardboard is not new due to the age of this authentic collector’s item. This is an ornament that uses multiple materials. The witches head and Body are a blown glass ornament. Her skirt is crepe paper. Her legs are twisted black and orange pipestem cleaners while her orange shoes are wood. She sits on a wood dowel broom handle. The broom is made of straw. She holds an orange paper pumpkin with a small plastic cat mounted on the pumpkin. The ornament is 6 long and in very good vintage condition. She comes in her original Baumchen’s box.

Featuring a Black Cat with Orange Bow set in the original channel red wood foot, back is embossed GERMANY. Designed as part of a Halloween knock-down skittles game, piece has wear appropriate for use and age. I have several other pieces from this collection. This is a made in Germany antique – circa 1920s-1930s Halloween witch on a broom stick. I have seen this in multiple colors of Black, Orange white and green but not all black. This is large at approximately 13″ x 13″. It is heavily embossed and the Germany mark is clearly impressed in her cape. I will package with great care for safe arrival!
