Hard to find adorable creation. The doll is possibly marked, but the original clothes were not removed, so we are not sure about the producer of the doll. Here is a beautiful boy in a rare large size. Unfortunately, the head of the doll was restored. We are not sure what the original damage was or exactly where it occurred. However, the restoration is professionally made and is hard to see. The body of the doll has a crier that occasionally works. The body shows wear and some repairs that are all shown on the photos. This include repaint and possibly some restoration to the hands. Please look through all the photos as they are an important part of the description and show all the details and signs of wear. Stringing is not very tight, but is not loose. The doll is coming with an absolutely outstanding outfit in great condition. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

15 GERMAN GEBRUDER HEUBACH. Bisque head with painted intanglio eyes, short single stroked eyebrows with an open/closed mouth with 2 molded teeth and he has impressed dimples. He has an old, very sparse wig. He is on a very good heavy fully jointed composition body. Hands were possibly repainted years ago. He is wearing a wonderful antique tuxedo, white shirt and vest. I added the top hat, it’s about 30 years old. His shirt and pants are sewn on and I didn’t want to disturb them. He has antique shoes and socks. He is a great cabinet size and would make a great escort for a lady doll. See pictures as they are part of description. As I was describing him i noticed a factory flaw below his nose, so tiny it does not distract from his good looks and can’t be seen in the pictures. Just had to mention it.

Little Gebruder Heubach Pouty Boy. This little guy has so much character, I love him as he is. Antique character boy doll with composition flange head (this type of head is secured at the neck area with twine or wire), he needs his head tightened up just a bit, he has a hard cloth straw stuffed body that is metal clip jointed at the shoulders and hips. He has early rounded hands, see photos. His legs have printed cloth stripe stockings and black cloth shoes that are part of the legs. Reference shows similar dolls made in 1880s through 1915. This is an antique pre-owned doll, you will see overall wear and paint loss, small rip on the toe of his left shoe where you can see he is straw stuffed. From the A S Oaks estate comes this Rare 16 German collaboration between wagner and Zetsche and Gebruder Heubach. The head bares both marks as well as her mold # 10566 up by the crown. There are no cracks or chips to the bisque head. She has blue sleep eyes and her original mohair wig. Research shows Wagner and Zetsche made the bodies for Gebruder Heubach and this is typical of the body of Heubach with composition lower arms and legs. There is a crack or repair to left foot. She is wearing a very pretty blue dress with white trim and a full slip and bloomers. These clothes are newer but appropriate. She has antique socks and vintage shoes.
