Really lovely DEP jumeau 19. I suspect she is German, her body is German, not French. In either case she is a darling. I’ve had this doll at least 10 years. I never expected her to have a hairline, but it looks like she may have had a forehead hairline repair when I backlit her. I didn’t know what to look for years ago. Her forehead APPEARS flawless from the outside. Her stationary eyes are antique, really beautiful. She wears an antique strawberry blond human hair wig in braids. She has no earring chips, wears new Swarovski glass earrings that match her costume. Unfortunately her compo body appears completely repainted but is strung tightly. She is also missing a piece of her left thumb. The good news is her 4 piece mariner costume from Gabriella is irredescent navy silk – really stunning. She wears vintage full slip and matching pantaloons. Socks are old, leather shoes are repro but really well done and match perfectly. She comes with stand and is display ready. I’ve taken into account her flaws when pricing her, she really is a stunner!

Bisque Head / Composition Jumeau Lady Body – Marked: “1159 Germany HALBIG S&H 9 1/2″ This is an outstanding 22 Fashion Lady by Simon & Halbig, doll mold #1159-9 1/2. What a stunning girl she is — such grace and elegance! Her face is beautifully painted with feathered brows, painted eyelashes, and sweet lush lips. She has an open mouth with four upper teeth, lovely gray-blue sleep eyes with lashes, pierced ears with earrings, and her nice brown auburn hair is full and swept up in a back roll. She is wearing a stunning lady’s walking suit ensemble in red silk, with silk train, a pleated ecru-and-lace silk blouse with embroidered silk flowers, and top coat with collar addition. The red dress has lots of soutache, decorative buttons, back pleats, and numerous embellishments. To complete her outfit, there is a black velvet-and-straw hat that matches her ensemble and a red-tasseled black purse. She is also wearing two-piece undergarments. See the photo that shows all her clothing laid out. She is on a tagged Jumeau slender full-lady body in great original condition. It has a small indentation on her right breast. Stunning 26 antique French bisque head doll. Big beautiful brown set eyes, clear flawless complexion, rosy cheeks and an open mouth showing teeth. Head is incised DEP / TETE JUMEAU / 12 She has tiny flake chips on the earring holes, otherwise, no hairlines, damages or repairs to the bisque. It has been light checked. She wears a dark blonde human hair wig, that is thick and full, with buckrum pate. Head is on the original French chunky ball jointed composition and wood body. Body has a label reading Bebe Jumeau / Diplome d’Honneur. No strings are present for the non working voice box. The chunky body shows some wear and chipping, especially on the hands. There has been repairs made to the top of the feet. Solid doll that presents very well. This beautiful little lady comes attired in a custom made antique styled drop waist silk dress with pleated lower skirt, bows front and back. Dress is a delightful light blue with lace overlay on bodice, creme piping, and lace accents. Matching bonnet has wired edges and lace, silk ribbon and feather plume accents. To complete the outfit is a white cotton slip with pin tucks and eyelet lace edging. An antique light weight cotton top, vintage knit socks and antique brown leather child’s shoes. Up for grabs is a wonderful doll with Belton head, flat top with 3 string holes and original skin wig. She has early straight wrists and all fingers present. Head is perfect and ears are applied. She has perfectly matched paperweight eyes that are beautifully. The eyelashes are also very delicately painted. Jumeau 8 ball body open closed Bru mouth. Her body could also be seen on the Schmitt dolls. With straight wrists and droopy butt. She is free if hairlines, cracks or restorations. She has been in my personal. Collection for over 10 years. She is about 160 years old and has been unplayed with all this time. To the body which is from age. White bisque and no damage to the painting. She is free of. She came with her white dress, long slip and half slip, wool stockings and leather shoes that are much newer. I made her a velvet cape from 1920 silk velvet and antique lace. I love to make things with lace that will be. Displayed for years to come as it is a lost art. She has a custom necklace of 14K gold filled beads, amethyst. She is on the earliest 8 ball Jumeau body with very little paint loss. She has a gold filled pin from. Fraternity Sigma Alpha Iota with little rubies and is larger. Than the ones made today. This adorable white mohair Scotty is 3″ L x 3/4″ W x 2 1/4 T. Has about 90% of the white mohair left. Still has his blue with yellow trim bow with metal pin holding it in place. Hello everyone, here up for sale is a very rare antique Jumeau #5 French Fashion Doll. The doll is 16 inches tall. Her head swivels, and she has beautiful blue glass eyes. The doll is marked with a 5 on the back of her head. There are no cracks and no chips in her bisque. Her leather hands are somewhat worn but in good shape for her age. The body is in good condition I believe. She is in a beautiful bride dress that has many layers and ornate designs. The sea shell beading on the lower half of the dress is actually a necklace I believe, wondering if it is a necklace that the original owner of the doll wore as a bride, it looks to be sewn in with all the same stitching as is on all of the dress. She has an original pate with some hair loss but still has hair. The cork is in very nice condition. Rarely do these come up. The clothing appears to be original to her, i did not remove her clothing as much of it is sewn into place. The veil netting is in excellent condition with minimal pin holes. The sheer over dress is fragile with some areas of shredding but beautiful given its age. I did not remove the satin socks as they were stitched into place and appear to be original. She has pierced ears. Send a message if you would like an additional picture of something I do not have pictured well.
