Gorgeous antique Kley & Hahn Walkure doll with her original human hair wig and ensemble. Her bisque head was made by Kestner and is free of any chips, cracks or repairs. There are some paint rubs around the rim of her head and a few small wig pulls. She has blue sleep eyes that work as they should, an open mouth with a row of little teeth, and lovely rosey cheeks. She has pierced ears and wears lovely antique earrings. She’s approximately 25 inches tall and her composition ball jointed body is in good antique condition with some normal wear around the joints and her stringing is still pretty good. Her antique drop waist dress is in good condition, there are a few places where the lace is coming loose and I’ve pinned it. The sole is starting to come loose from one of her shoes. I don’t think the peach sash is original and was added to her outfit later, its a bit big. She wears pantaloons, and a slip, and has a wonderful old straw hat to complete her outfit. She’s a stunning antique doll and is ready to display.

Lovely old baby doll! The bisque appears to be in a good condition, no damage to the head. There is a small production mold defect to the right side of the head. The body shows typical signs of wear, including some chipped fingers. Stringing is not the best, but it is not loose. The boy is dressed as shown on the photos. Small holes to the underwear and one of the booties. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

This beauty has stationary eyes. The head is free of damage. There is a production mold defect on the back of the head. This is not a damage or a repair. The wig looks like human hair. This very rare and well preserved Antique Kley and Hahn (Kestner) Walkure marked 76 Bisque head Doll was made ca. The Kley & Hahn Doll Factory was founded in Ohrdruf, Thüringia, Germany in 1895 by Albert Kley and Paul Hahn as a porcelain factory making bisque doll heads and bathing beauty dolls. Various other porcelain factories supplied their bisque doll heads to them; Hertel, Schwab & Company made the 100 series doll molds, Kestner made the 200 & 600 series and Walkure doll molds. So the head was probably made by Kestner. Authentication from the website :www. No hairlines noted in her bisque head; sweet face with working blue glass sleep eyes. 22 Kley & Hahn character doll. Back of perfect bisque head incised K & H 546 9 Germany Beautiful flawless peaches and cream bisque has no cracks, chips or hairlines. Brown sleep eyes are in their original plaster set. Original cardboard pate and original curly mohair wig also marked Made In Germany. Very nice composition and wood ball jointed body has no repair or repaint. I believe clothing is original with the exception of hat that has been added. My usual basic description with all the needed details, none of the flowery sales pitch stuff. As always, look at pictures, ask if you need more. HEAD: no hairlines, beautiful bisque. She does not have pierced ears. She has an open mouth with 4 teeth. Her blue, finely veined sleep eyes appear original. Her pate is an older woven one. The wig is a synthetic mohair in a darkish brown. The spot on the cheek in the back lit photo is a bit of plaster. BODY: The body is tightly strung. The parts are original to each other but I don’t think it is original to the head. It can sit or stand. It is not marked It has usual scuffing. There are some cracks in the finish particularly on the right foot. The finish has chipped off around the neck but the composition is intact.. The fingers are intact, but there is a repair to the right 4th finger. There is a crack in the finish of the 3rd finger but the finger was not repaired. CLOTHING: She does not have shoes!! . Her cotton socks are modern. Her panties are antique. First is the full slip made from a heavy muslin. It opens on the side. Antique fringed trim is on the bottom. The bodice of the dress is a lighter muslin. The skirt is a dark cream colored heavy beautiful brocade. It is fully lined. It closes with snaps. The fully lined jacket is of the same brocade. Antique lace trim as in the photos. It has a ribbon and bow in front. She has an antique lace removable collar that has a brown silk tie. I don’t recall for sure but I don’t think this came with the dress. I just like the look and it hides the chipped finish of the neck. THIS IS A BIG DOLL. IT IS HEAVY & IN A LARGE BOX. The synthetic mohair wigs cannot be combined with anything other than the other new SM wigs, and the straw flowers that are listed. Many of these have been put together with parts bought separately over years. I describe to the best of my ability. FOR PACKING I USE CLEAN PLASTICS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED, NOT NEW PACKING MATERIALS. THE BOX/PACKING MAY NOT LOOK PRETTY BUT THE CONTENTS WILL BE SECURE. THESE MATERIALS MAY BE PLASTIC MILK CARTONS, NEWSPAPERM EMPTY FOOD PACKAGES, ETC.
