From an estate in Lunenburg Massachusetts comes this absolutely adorable 16 Gebruder Heubach laughing boy # 6897 on jointed composition body. He looks like he has been playing dress up in his antique velvet and beaded Smock top and velvet knickers. He also has antique socks but newer shoes which I gave him since he only had socks when I bought him. His head is perfect no chips or cracks. His body has original paint and lacquer but has either wear or something on his hands. The red lines are still there. The tip of an index finger has a hole. Luckily his long flowing sleeves actually hide his hands. One knee ball looks like it might be a tiny bit smaller than the other one. His outfit has some wear and someone threaded white stringing elastic thru his knickers to hold them up. I think black cord or ribbon would be more appropriate. Please review all photos and ask questions.

This adorable character doll is approximately 14.5 tall. The bisque has no damage. There are some production mold flaws on the back of the head. Paint flaws to the face. The body has shows some wear and repair, it is overall well preserved. Damage to the bisque hands. Small chips to the composition legs. The boy is coming with very cute vintage outfit. 1-piece underwear, stockings and shoes are included. Please refer to the pictures for more details. No stand is included.
