Here we have a fab vintage West German pottery lamp base. I have been unable to find out who made this but have seen many similar ones by Scheurich. Either way it’s a lovely piece made somewhere around the 60’s or 70’s. It has a nice dripglaze which is like a fat lava style but it isn’t “bubbling”. Nice brown colours on a white background makes for a nice neutral piece in your home. It measures approximately 10.25 inches tall to the top of the bulb holder by 8 inches so it’s a decent size. It comes with approximately 1.5m of cable. It has a fabulous look – perfect for the lover of the 60’s/70’s, West German pottery or the contemporary home. Vintage Mid Century 1970s West German Pottery Brown Fat Lava Ceramic Table Lamp. Hollow glazed ceramic design with fat lava style rings, and two decorative handles. With added oatmeal colour crosshatch fabric lamp shade and modern warm Plumen 4W LED lightbulb. As shade was added separately it fits a little loose and needs a washer to secure it properly.
