Offered for sale is a 16 inch bisque German doll on a leather body with bisque arms, by Gebruder kuhnlenz. The doll has a closed mouth and blue glass eyes. It has a solid bisque dome covering the opening to the head. It has pierced ears. The original body is very well made and well shaped. It has a very well made hand stitched human hair wig. The bisque arms are nicely shaped and go above the elbow. The doll is marked. The bisque head has head has no damage nor repair. The body is in very nice condition with little soiling. The arms have no finger chips. A great cabinet sized doll for collectors that like to sew.

From the Hamel estate comes this wonderful example of a blonde child by Alt Beck Gottschalck ABG from 1880 with exposed ears. There are no chips or cracks to her lovely head. She is on an antique cloth body with kid arms with individual fingers. There is age related damage to the fingers and hands. She is wearing antique bloomers, petticoat and chemise. She also has her original silk socks that are melting. Not sure if they could tenderly mended but they need to stay with her. She wears an appropriate style vintage red dress with antique lace and silk ribbons. I say vintage not antique dress because it is machine stitched with snaps to close in back. The product is an antique German kid leather doll body, likely dating back to the pre-1900 time period. This doll body is gender neutral and is in very excellent condition without any sawdust leaks or visible repairs. There is a tiny chip to the right hand little finger, all other fingers undamaged. It measures 4 3/4″ across the top of the shoulders and stands approximately 13″ tall. The kid leather was at one time tinted pink and the color has faded to a pleasant ver soft pink.

This is a vintage real leather (cow) briefcase from aprox the late 1940’s / 1950’s. This style has been made since the 1930’s. It had this same textured leather to look like an exotic reptile, alligator / crocodile skin but is made of all steer hide except the inside dividers are cardboard. The color is red with black paint or dye. It has an accordion shape so it can hold a lot of items. What dates this bag are the 2 deco style German metal closures/locks & the older metal zipper. Marked DBP, it means “Deutsches Bundespatent”, German federal patent. There are no dates or patents on this case just the locks. I can’t date it exactly because there are no labels of the maker. This originally had shoulder straps so you could wear it like a backpack. It still has the hooks & buckle so you can add new straps easily. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT ALLIGATOR LEATHER AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. IT IS REAL COW LEATHER WITH AN EMBOSSED SCALE DESIGN & PAINTED red & black. CONDITION: Better Than Excellent. No holes or stains. No damage or loose seams. Only normal age & storage wear. LOCKS STILL WORK very well & smoothly but the keys are not included. The metal has some normal dirt & age. There is a bit of all over dust from storage even though I gently polished it up with clean natural leather polish. The only real flaw is to the inside flap (see photo) it had nail polish on the inside flap so I had it removed. It can still be polished & cleaned to improve the left over spot. The leather itself is not damaged. It’s missing the shoulder straps it had originally. LABEL: Metal is marked DBP, it means “Deutsches Bundespatent”, German federal patent. SIZE: 16″ WIDE X 13″ TALL. So please don’t worry. I’m always happy to help. IF I MISSED SOMETHING JUST RETURN IT. I do not work weekends. If you need it by a certain date please let me know. I take photos of all measurements for accuracy. I’m happy to help. Please compare them to your items that fit. I do not have pet hair anywhere near my items & there’s no smoking here at all. I attach my own stock tags to all of my items that are right in front. Please check to make sure I sent the correct item. Do not remove tags until you make sure everything is okay. Once tags are removed you can not return it no matter what. Antique 23 inch Gebruder Kuhnlenz German bisque shoulder head doll with leather body. Jointed at shoulders, hips, and knees; blue glass fixed eyes; mohair blonde wig; open mouth with four upper teeth; no chips or cracks. Left arm loose with leaking sawdust. DOLLS, TOYS & GAMES. This large 23-inch antique Gebruder Kuhnlenz German bisque shoulder head doll, is marked Gbr 170 K above the number 5 on her back, and 27 at the top of her head. She is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Facial details include blue glass fixed eyes with painted upper and lower lashes, multi-stroke brown brows, accented nostrils, full cheeks, and a dimpled chin. The outlined lips are open and she has four upper teeth, all in perfect condition. A mohair blonde wig is stitched to a cardboard cap, which is glued to her head. She has her original pink soft leather body, and is jointed at the hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows with rivets. She has bisque fingers and forearms. Her left arm is loose and leaking some sawdust, but remains attached by wires and stitching. All other limbs are securely attached, bend easily at the joints and are in excellent condition.
