Just one of inkFrog’s. Antique German Slider Photo Locket Silver Charm Pendant Lucky Clover Woman. This is a lovely antique Art Nouveau sliding photo locket pendant or charm. The front and back are identical, with 4-leaf clover shapes, and a woman’s face in profile. The locket is made of brass with a heavy layer of silver. One side is in excellent condition, and the other side shows some tarnished areas, and some light scratches to the woman’s cheek. The little tabs protruding from each piece are meant to either turn the locket (top tab), or hold the piece in place (bottom tab). The bottom tab is a little short, so it does not keep the top piece from sliding in the opposite direction. The locket holds an interior round photo frame with two photos of a man and woman in period dress. All three pieces are hinged together from the suspension loop. It dates to around 1900. The overall condition is good for its age, with no dents or major scratches. There are stamps to the suspension loop, front and back of the locket, and to the tabs. I believe it is the maker’s initials, which appear to be “EM”. It measures 1 and 1/16 inches wide by 1 and 3/8 inches tall. The piece can be worn as a pendant, or attached to an antique charm bracelet. Payments are due within 5 days. Offered here is an absolutely marvelous antique Art Nouveau Viennese jewelry big silver locket neck pendant with mirror. Beautiful locket in oval shape featuring diagonal relief stripes art nouveau pattern. Austrian fine silver marked on loop with 925 ark with letter mark but hardly readable. Sliding closure open close. Excellent preserved for its age with some with alredy arking amalgam on mirror and some dark tarnishing inside. Found at an estate sale in Vienna Austria. Not sure of its history other then it came from an estate of a world traveler and antique collector. Measures: 2” without loop x 1.4” / 52mm. This is a gorgeous, antique doll, that is marked Special, Germany. ” She is 23″ tall. She has a beautiful round cherubic face, with brown eyes and brown human hair. She has teeth showing, in her mouth. I have cleaned her and her wig. The human hair wig, has thinned out, so I styled it into braids, wrapping around her head and added a vintage gold clip, to her hair. The back of her head shows some of the old glue, from her wig. Her composition body, shows some cracks and chipped paint, especially around her upper arms, and her ball joint hips and knees. There is a crack in her left heel, and her middle right finger is missing. She has her original black leather shoes, that have holes and cracks in them. I used a toddlers vintage romper, to make into a white dress for her. It has real shell buttons, and a belt clasp. There is some minor yellowing, in the dress. She has a bonus, vintage locket, with a Victorian man and woman sitting together. Over all, she is in very nice condition, for her age. Please take a look at my other doll listings!
